I know it won't help you much if you're after an extra MCC ticket, but I'll probably have spare barcodes if you'd like to use them to get your dad a ticket.

I guess they've done it by order of when the games are on, which makes sense. It should have always been staggered. Rich vs Hawks should have been today- members, then MCC, then AFL, then general release, followed by Melb vs Geelong tomorrow and so on. It's really not rocket science is it? I feel like if a 5 year old was in charge of the ticketing system, I would have gotten my tickets and a lollipop by now.

I swear to god if I try at 1pm tomorrow and the whole thing is a bust again, I will lose my sh*t. Nobody has this much time to waste on a busted up old website. Lets hope the big traffic from the Hawks v Tigers game dies down significantly by 1pm.

A waste of time. I rescheduled my entire day to be available at 9am to buy tickets. It's now 4pm. I have done a total of 0 things today. What a disgrace.

No you have to pay a processing fee when you buy anything on Ticketek, even if you choose to print the ticket at home yourself. From memory it's $6.99. Spoke to a good friend who is a Sydney supporter. She is in the same boat. Last month she also ended up buying 5 extra tickets to a play because the website told her the order didn't go through, so she tried again and ended up with two transactions being processed. I've tried before to buy concert tickets etc from them, and they are always crashing. You'd think they would figure it out by now!

These pricks should waiver their handling fees on all finals tickets... if they ever get the issue resolved that is.

My work is currently looking at upgrading its online platform. Apparently you can pay for platforms that NEVER crash. Yet we pay $7 handling fee to a site that can't even be bothered to upgrade its platform to something that can hold a capacity of 300,000 site visits at a time, or have the brains to work out that ticket releases should be staggered to avoid this issue. The mind boggles with incompetency.

Everyone with a guaranteed final ticket membership will be able to get a ticket, there is an allocation of tickets per club (hence why Geelong members could only get 1 ticket per member), so it does not matter if Geelong members all got tickets. The allocation for Melbourne members remains the same. Don't worry about that. Now just waiting to hear when the pre-sale will begin again. I'm not leaving work and my computer until I hear something. What a bloody joke this is. You'd think it's the first time finals tickets have ever gone on sale.

Now is says members tickets no longer on sale when you go to buy the tickets.

This is a joke. I’m in a meeting trying to secretly buy tickets and it keeps not processing and timing me out. FFS Ticketek you are a joke!!!!

I just hate this club so so so very much. Their arrogance disgusts me. I think they are very vulnerable and very gettable. Nobody I would rather play first up than Geelong. We should have beaten them twice this year. Third time should be a charm. If we haven’t learnt by now what we need to do to beat them then we don’t deserve the win.
