A constant view of many of us on these forums is the need of one more out-and-out class act in the midfield. The #1 17-year-old gets us that class act. Of those I would realistically take Cassisi, Johnson and possibly Josh Hunt. The reality is unless it's a GWS megabucks bid most of those players at clubs with a lot of players will stay put or are already in line for being delisted.

Just to add onto the SellarDoor debate, I was at the Qld triple header and very much liked what I saw from him. The guy can play in the backline. Very much had the Warnocks about him except didn't scare the living [censored] out of me when he tried to kick the footy. He'll be great against a gorilla - see Cloke, Brown, Roughead - and even better against the more generic tall forwards (Vickery, Lynch). It also releases Frawley off those guys to take the rebounding HB role, where he is far, far more deadly. If we don't try and muck with him as well as (occasionally) have him pinch-hit as a third option down back in the ruck (behind Rush and Martin) then I think he'll do well.

Couple of things: - On the interview front, Eddie screams hypocrisy right now. If it was Didak following the gun incident, Shaw after the gambling or the drunken incident or any other Collingwood player with any other journo, he'd be screaming bloody murder. - On the Jurrah playing front regarding the court case, it's a first court date. Taking a case as serious as this to trial can take a very long time. For a comparison, look at the Andrew Krakouer case. Krakouer's assault was December 2006. He was delisted October 2007, and his court case wasn't until early 2008. - Finally, I just want to wash my hands of this until we get a case here on 'land. Over on BF I've been defending the club's decision not to dump him immediately, but beyond that speculation is going to get us absolutely nowhere, plus the implications for what is a pending court date could affect jury members or the case of either the prosecution or the defence. I implore others to not comment on the case in a public forum such as this, as you risk impeding the course of justice.
