  1. Hey guys i'd love to play if there is a spot, think i would be able to contribute to annhilating the pies and the other rabble.
  2. Trengove Moloney Sylvia Watts Jamar Martin McKenzie Frawley Garland Grimes
  3. Yeah Sheedy said pretty much this on the live Herald Sun forum this morning, and that was the reason they will be targeting few players over 120 games experience or so. I just hope enough of the talent is poached back in the next few years so that they do not come close to the top 8 at all.
  4. Goddard would be a more viable option to throw the cash at, especially if we manage to land Lyon.
  5. Warnock and a late pick for Suckling? I'd be very happy with that personally. Could be a bit ambitious though.
  6. My link Looks like Palmer is gone too, wasn't exactly unexpected though.
  7. Sounds like another Col Sylvia and one is enough.
  8. Out of Dunn, Morton and Bate (among others who are possible to go at the end of the season), Bate would be the one to perservere with in my opinion. His body would be useful but as said above he is pretty slow and his agility has not been the same since he was first drafted - now has the turning circle of a small truck.
  9. Hmmm big call but I definitely think he is a required player for our potential flag 'core'.
  10. Garland Frawley Bail Blease Rivers Grimes Trengove Moloney Bennell Green Watts Petterd Jurrah Martin Sylvia Jamar Jones McKenzie Scully Tapscott Howe McDonald Bartram Wonaemirri Gawn Too early obviously but a bit of fun.
  11. Not sure if anything has been mentioned on Demonland recently, but could Grant Weeks of Golden Square in one of the country footy leagues be worth a look? 189 cms and 98 kilos, lacks a bit in height but has kicked something like 120 goals so far this season and booted 157 last year. There seems to be a lack of quality big forwards in the VFL at the moment, aside from obviously Fev, so it could be worth casting the net a bit wider.
  12. Fevola is one of the best full forwards to play the game in the last decade - I think it is rediculous that people can say he will offer nothing on the 'development' side of things. I think he could teach our young forwards quite a bit about leading, timing etcetera. Sure he is selfish and arrogant on the field but perhaps this could also be a positive; I wouldnt mind seeing a bit more of this from a couple of our players ie Watts. I'm all for bringing him in on a rookie contract with clauses regarding behaviour.
  13. Should definitely be chasing more required players ie Butcher or a hard, mature mid. The last thing we need in my opinion is another young midfielder.
  14. Looks at home on the back flank, and I like the look of Tappy as a forward. Blease is going to be a gun.
  15. Too risky in my opinion, can't get a game for essendon due to injury or form so can't see him being any better with us.
  16. Can't really compare the sacking of Bailey to the loss of Thompson, a dual premiership coach..
  17. I feel the same however I've always thought that the stadium at the Docklands, which is steeper and seems more enclosed than the 'G, makes the ground seem smaller...
  18. Enjoying all the positive comments for Blease, great to see him out there and making an impact.
  19. Beautiful! Best news in a while.
  20. In the unlikely event we snag Malthouse, I would love to see look on Eddie's face...
  21. Saad could be worth a look in our search for a small forward.
  22. An absolute heart and soul warrior - I love this man!
  23. Great news, can't wait to see him back in the red and blue soon!
