  1. I hope the other clubs aren't aware of that or they may try and low ball us, knowing that we have to trade it.
  2. Can't we just concentrate on the coach that just signed at the moment? Roos' deal is open ended anyway, this successor could be taking over in 3 years or even 8 years.
  3. As well as luring Bartlett and Roos, he walked my Granny across the road the other day... what a legend.
  4. I'm sure if Hogan had not been picked up in the mini draft and had played under 18's this year, the recruiters would be raving about him more than Boyd.
  5. Brendan Lade must have used a good 'roar' when this happened... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViwtwII83oE
  6. As a 20 year old, getting the best defender each week and only having started playing footy a few years ago... I think it's very impressive. Also considering they get belted every week.
  7. Good luck to him. As I mentioned in another thread, he'd been spotted in Brisbane two Mondays ago so has probably met/interviewed with them already.
  8. Now now, we don't need to start a theological debate. We already have our messiah anyway.
  9. We expecting a press conference this week?
  10. Don't forget Richmond making the finals, that one's special.
  11. I like the VB logo, it's a very Australian symbol. Good on Ahmed though, it's fair enough. Amla does a similar thing with Castle lager, RSA's major sponsor.
  12. Shuey is a very good player and a very strong character, having dealt with some pretty serious personal issues early in his career. Having gone to school with him I can also say he is a good bloke!
  13. If he wants to study via a Uni in Perth, he can do it through correspondance from his bedroom in Toorak. I'm sure he'll cope.
  14. Could be on the money there. White might not have been going places so perhaps Cricket Australia got into Shipperd's ear. This development wouldn't surprise me from Shipperd - during this preseason my cricket club had a workshop with him at the G. A very impressive individual... extremely professional, all about getting better and setting higher standards for yourself. Hopefully Wade benefits from this, I never thought of him as captaincy material though.
  15. Key back for WCE if I'm not mistaken. Doesn't seem to have done that much.
  16. That is written as if he has already been signed ...
  17. A few interesting decisions in there, Cotchin was probably a bit stiff to miss out. Fremantle have done particularly well this year and good on Jeremey Cameron - already an absolute gun. 18. After seeing the professionalism of Jackson and now Roos in the last couple of months, I think we are in very safe hands going forwards lads. Provided Roos signs on of course.
