The Dees payed half descent footy in the first half and went home after half time. I dont know what happened at half time but whatever it was it needs to STOP. Why is it so hard for the players to play a FULL game FFS. Its not that hard is it? How about telling the players if you play half a game of footy you get half of your pay & if you play a full game you get all your pay. Something needs to motivate these guys.

As i have said before u dont need talent to chase, defend and go hard at the ball.

When looking at our list Baliey couldnt develop a player for shite. His softly, softly approach was crap. He mothered the players too much and we are paying for it now. The players need to harden up. You dont need to be talented to chase, defend and be hard at the ball.

Personally I think its the LACK of development under DB that has not helped these new recruits. Softly,softly approach what a joke. Now with Misson, Neeld, Brown and co at the helm it will turn. Its like turning the titanic in that it will be a slow process (and hopefully we will swim and not sink).

Agree but I do find it hard to tip against the Dees which I know is stupid but I am hoping one day they will be winning a hell of a lot more games than losing. In the mean time I have to cop it sweet.

I have just watched Gary Lyon from lasts nights footy show. He was outstanding. Must admit had a tear in my eye. In fact the way all Melb footy people have handled Jimmy's passing has been exceptional. MFC all the way.

Was at the game tonight 1 win and 1 loss in shite conditions. If it wasnt pi##ing down it was as slippery as all hell. One of the things I noticed was that the Dees kept at it eventhough the ball was like a cake of soap. Amazing about how negative people are here. Its the first game of 2012. Settle down people. Davey looked to have his pace again, Watts was better in the 2nd game and the newbies did ok. Having seen the game I feel more confident about the Dees being more dare i say it COMPETITIVE. Heard Garlo has hurt his lower back, hope its not too bad, One thing that annoyed the crap out of me apart from the conditions was that after every GC/BL goal they played music and also at the start of each game they had a one min countdown on the score board. Very bloody annoying. Have faith my fellow Dees supporters we will be better than last season.
