Would be good to get a FORWARDS coach as part of our assistant coaching panel. IMO this would help our forwards immensely.

Heard a caller talking on SEN drilling T Morris about what he has been saying about the MFC which was quite entertaining. One thing the caller said was something like Tom you are a Melb supporter why do u want Petracca and Oliver to go. His response was something like he hasn’t said that and that his job is to report on footy and clubs and THAT HE IS NOT A PASSIONATE SUPPORTER OF THE CLUB. We are just another club to him. THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING, he doesn’t give a crapola about our club. Top bloke.

Looks like talking to us was a good negotiating tool for him. Got what he wanted in the end.

Imo I thought he had a very injury interrupted season which contributed to his poor form. I would have like to c what he can do if he has a clear run at it but I do acknowledge he is slowing. Anyway decision is not up to me and I wish him all the best whatever happens.

This reminds me of when NB said he wanted to go to collywobbles to win a premiership and the lions beat the collywobbles twice against NB to win it in their 3 peat so that worked out well for him. I have a gut feeling this decision by NB may go down the same path. Time will tell. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if we end up playing TAS in a GF coached by NB and we beat them. That would be bloody spectacular. Time will tell.

Big G also said we expect to play finals next yr. Heard that before somewhere but hopefully King can get us going and solve some of our long lasting issues. Time will tell.

That’s probs because his answers maybe reflected his fence sitting attitude and looking at what Tas was going to offer. I will take the job if I don’t like what Tas say. Get stuffed If this was the case it just shows he was undecided and we don’t want a half arced coach hence Kings appointment.

Just listened to this and I thought Big G was great. Seems like we have found one here I reckon. Really liked it when he called our best buddy Caroline W, Carol ha ha god she irritates me. She did try to mud rake with her questions but Big G answered them beautifully. He also mentioned that King was the best of the bunch including FIGJAM. Hopefully success follows King.

On a positive IWS at least we don’t have to pretend to like FIGJAM.

I think we are keeping Jones, Bassett and Chappy as assistants.
