Funni story and nothing to do with this thread or any other for that matter but I was at my local shops (qld) and I was walking back to my car and this guy who just parked his car and was getting out his pram, was looking at me and I was thinking I am going to get mugged here anyway I get in my car put the window down as I leave and he yells out “GO DEES”. So naturally I stopped and he said I saw ur tattoo and number plate to which I replied yeah we are all a little crazy in the head. Then his wife came around the corner from the car and said sorry about that ha ha. Just goes to show us dees supporters all over the place. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me either. It’s great to see.

Thanks for posting @adonski What a great and very detailed article. It’s good to know how things unfolded and very interesting reading about Steele too and how that eventuated. Hopefully May gets back into form and also helps the younger defenders develop quickly. Seems pretty positive for 2026. Go Dees.

Such sad news and thanks for sharing @Redleg . It’s really hard to think how difficult and sad it will be for the 3 kids growing up. Hopefully they have other family support to help out. Condolences to all the family.

Doubling down on ur disrespectful comments about a player who has played at the elite level for 11 yrs is hilarious but maybe that’s the green eyed monster coming out in u. Either way even if his career is over he has done a hell of a lot more in AFL than a majority of posters on the site.

No need to be disrespectful about him. He has played at the highest level for a number of years so clearly he has the talent. Time may have caught up with him now but it does with every AFL player.

Would be nice to think this could be a possibility but I think we all know we will probs end up taking the deal. We backed ourselves into a corner and now have to pay for it. Same with track imo he isn’t coming back and we will end up taking pics. This isn’t a great trade period for us unfortunately and we r paying the price for previous mistakes.

My god reading this thread is like a bloody picture book with all the gifs. It’s ok we are Melb supporters we know how to read unlike some supporters of other teams 😄. Love ur work @demonforever and appreciate all the updates.

IMO the only way BH comes to us is if he nominates us and says he wants to move to vic for family reasons otherwise it will end up being draft pics 🤮 cause I don’t think trac is walking back into the club.

The dif is one is a premiership player and Norm smith medal winner and the other hasn’t done anything yet.
