Now we have to wait for 2 weeks to see what happens in Rd 1 and in the mean time have to listen to all the bs in the media about the Dees. Sick and tired of hearing it by the way. Geez its going to be a fun 2 wks. god help us all.

Also will be interesting to see how long it takes the players to respond to Neeld and by what we have seen so far it will be a while.

I really dont know what to say to be honest but am sick and tired of this shite.

Was at the game tonight 1 win and 1 loss in shite conditions. If it wasnt pi##ing down it was as slippery as all hell. One of the things I noticed was that the Dees kept at it eventhough the ball was like a cake of soap. Amazing about how negative people are here. Its the first game of 2012. Settle down people. Davey looked to have his pace again, Watts was better in the 2nd game and the newbies did ok. Having seen the game I feel more confident about the Dees being more dare i say it COMPETITIVE. Heard Garlo has hurt his lower back, hope its not too bad, One thing that annoyed the crap out of me apart from the conditions was that after every GC/BL goal they played music and also at the start of each game they had a one min countdown on the score board. Very bloody annoying. Have faith my fellow Dees supporters we will be better than last season.

DB, heat might not be a factor but humidity will. Even when it rains it still can be very humid especially in Feb.

In regards to Davey his knee could be worse than we think and his attitude mght be reflecting this. I think this is his last year in contract and if he continues this attitude it will no doubt be his final year. The coach has told him what he wants him to do and if he doesnt do it theres the door. Lawrence could be his replacement n the F50.

I think everyone who asks is getting told its a few weeks away and has been the standard response since December I think.

Has any one else noticed that on the Dees website there is a big blank space at the top of the site. (Between the Melb logo and Energy Watch sign)? Could this maybe in preparation for the new sponsor annoucement? I maybe wrong but it does seem strange to leave it blank.

Dangerfield's contract is also up at the end of the season and with Craig at the Dees it could be a possibility too. Heard he gets on really well with Craig and misses Melb (the city). He would be a nice addition to the squad.

Thanks for the reports. We can only hope their training form translates into game day form. Time will tell.

I spoke with the MFC footy shop today and he said that FOJ sponsor should be completed prior to the season starting. He did not know who it was but was confident. Hope he is right.

Will see soon enough Ol Dee am going to the pre-season game at Carrara. Will be interesting to see what game plan we have and how the boys have adjusted to it.

Lets hope that he does stay on the park Old Dee otherwise it will be a team with one captain. Must admit when I heard there was joint capts my first though was Grimes has hardly been on the park. Maybe 2012 will be his first full year. I am looking forward to 2012 but at the same time very very mindful of having high expectations or actually any expectations based on prev yrs.

Considering last yearDavey was being considered as captain will he even make the seniors for round 1? Also considering there is another week of work ahead does anyone have any good comebacks for the tools at work giving me sh$t for having co captains??? One thought I have had is that we have 2 players who deserve to be captain not just one.

Saw the pics of the boys in the HS and AFL site must say good photo but looks very bare without the front sponsor.
