  1. He has been gifted 100 games at senior AFL level. Melbourne have had many players gifted games that shouldn't have played at AFL level. None that I can recall were gifted as many as Jack. His first 100 are comparable in form to Josh Fraser's first 100, a fellow high draft pick. Let's hope his next century isn't similar and he has finally turned the corner. I like how he's played so far this season and hope he re-signs, but I'm aware of his past form. I agree he's been inconsistent, frustrating and underperformed. The rest are simply excuses.
  2. You must've missed the part where I said i hope he continues to have a good year, re-signs and consistently plays well for us. Not surprised.
  3. Yeah, that's exactly why he posted the story of his dream. FMD...
  4. Amazing how after a win and a few preseason games people jump on Jack and conveniently forget the years of poor footy he played. I couldnt GAS about this 'face of the club' or 'his heart beats red n blue' rubbish. Just play consistent, good footy for the club. I truly hope he has a cracker of a year, re-signs and plays good footy for years to come at the Dees, rather than cruise on good coin. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, his career to date has been disappointing. Matthew Lloyd is largely right, Jack has been gifted 100 games of AFL footy.
  5. A free agent is a free agent is a free agent. Can you imagine the shitfight the other 17 clubs would create if the AFL tried to change the FA rules in favour of the club that gave its players PEDs?
  6. Not really. Up until 2016 he's been largely disappointing. Not sure blood, sweat and tears is how most on here would describe Jack's carrier to date. If you were talking about Nate Jones I'd say "hell yeah!". But based on 3 NAB Cup games and one H&A game in 2016 he finally looks good. I also hope he re-signs, but too often we've seen guys put in a good last year of contract then cruise on big coin for a few years. Remember Woey, Davey and Chip?
  7. Hurley AND Prestia. Hmmmmm!
  8. I'm guessing you didn't notice because you were intoxicated by the charm, wit and foul halitosis of bbo and Biff on Saturday dc.
  9. Has the MFC been promoting that this is a substitute game for club members? A number of members I've talked to haven't realised they can enter using their MFC membership. Hope the club does a push on this during the week.
  10. ATM we have no A grade gun mids. We might have a couple in 2-3 years from our current list. To become top 4 we need as many as possible, 4 would go a long way to help. Prestia is a bona fide A grader. Should he want to play for the Dees we'd be mad not to throw a very large sum at him.
  11. Too right Earl. Well deserved. I thought I saw foItage of you on stage at the Stones' Cuba concert accepting grand applause from one and all. Or was it Barack? Cannot recall. Oh well, equally worthy of praise.
  12. Er, no we haven't all seem them Maple. Mostly we've not seen them as we mostly use the ignore function. When others quote them we see them, unfortunately.
  13. I picked a good weekend to go away on a tantric retreat, thus avoiding the footy with Bitters and Biff (and by the sounds of it, Maple and maybe even dc). I'm guessing there were many in that area at the G who went home sans wallet. How else would that motley crew afford to eat slop and drink cheap wine at a inner city pub? Shameful, but not unexpected.
  14. Beat that lying club by 140 pts. Watch their supporters leave at half time. Laugh in their face. That would satisfy me.
  15. Water boarding by Donald Trump
  16. Not before he's ready and has played a couple of Casey games. Maybe round 4. Not to be hurried.
  17. Yes. We are buying Prestia a house in Moggs Creek
  18. No chance Tyson will be dropped this week, unless injured. No chance. Like we have such a strong midfield we can afford to not play him! Let's get real.
  19. Absolutely. Prestia would probably be our best mid if he was on the 2016 MFC list. Certainly top 3.
  20. Would have him in a heartbeat (assuming his body is ok). Pure class A grade mid. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we still lack experienced high end mids. Quick, inside, hard, great skills, good tank, leadership.... very little not to like. Though not the same role, I'd have him above Tyson, Harmes, Stretch, Kennedy, M Jones, Grimes and even Vince. And very few of what's left is as proven as Prestia
  21. Agree. Dunn for OMac. But I think Gus, H and Tracc will get at least another week at Casey before consideration. Obviously also depends upon match ups. Wonder if Garlett will get cited by MRP
  22. Dom Tyson will not be dropped for round 2. Bugg/Harmes are more likely to make way if Brayshaw/Truck work their way in. Dunn likely for OMac.
  23. How about Gerard Healey gushing over $cully at the start of the last quarter, saying how great his aerobic running is, yadda, yadda, yadda. Pity he forgot to mention his appalling kicking which subsequently created a number of last qtr turnovers. Lol!
  24. Absolutely. Great post.
