Walk with me dc. You are not alone.

Unfortunately Maple I will be away this austere weekend renewing my spiritual roots and restoring my tarnished faith. Bless. Thus, I will leave the beer soaked, politically incorrect abuse throwing at the G to Bitters and Biffen for now.

Roos flags possible Dees-GWS Grand Final
Moonshadow replied to RedLegs23's topic in Melbourne Demons
99.9% of non-MFC/GWS supporters would spit their beer out in laughter at that prediction. Let's win a few more games first. -
Dees by 24pts. Hogan with 4. Gawn 7 marks and 437 hit outs. Oliver 27 possies. Demonland goes into meltdown and crashes. There are riots in the streets.

Me thinks Bitters is coming off the booze, or perhaps the columbian marching powder. Why else would he be so angry?
-
Not quite. Biffen robbed the place

I read that our Hulk Hogan was recently awarded $150mill damages as a result of a secret se x tape. Wow, we really can't afford to re-sign him now. Out of our league.

Richmond should take a leaf and bring an elephant or two out onto the ground like this...

Sounds too much like a Michael Jackson video to me. Beat It or Thriller. I do not want to see Bitters break out into dance, thank you very much.

Though it was a thread about Sidebottom re-signing......

Dunno, but perhaps they are expecting teams similar to us, such as St K and GC, to also improve.

I like it. Very different take from what other clubs are doing. Very Melbourne city.

If Ben Gibson isn't a Melbourne supporter then he's being very generous in much of his assessment. Eg, "prestigious squad"???

I resemble that.

Am I shouting at you? You are missing the point picket. This is not the way the coaches or any team picks the 22 that runs out. They look at injuries, match ups against the next oppostistion, form, who needs to be rested, etc.

The term best 22 is so irrelevant. Each week there are injuries, match ups, form and player rest weeks (esp for very young players) which mean that the senior team might be chosen from around 30 players. At full fitness, Trengove is a good chance to play for the club because his skills, talent, knowledge of our team and the game. Obviously he'll be eased into it and he may not crack the seniors for quite a while, but talk of him not being best 22 is both moot and disrespectful.

Let's hope it happens in Jonesey's playing career. Would be a great way to go out.
-
Really looking forward to him kicking a bag against GWS in round 1. The rest up to then is just noise.

Yeah, that's exactly what I said. Helps if you can read. -
The combined Jaeger O'Meara and Dion Prestia Thread

Big if you. Tell us Curry, IYHO which first year player shouldn't get a game until later in the season, only for us to see them play nearly every game and star? Last year you stood firmly against Brayshaw getting a game. Is it Oliver this year? Perhaps Tracc? Bwahaha!
