Am I shouting at you? You are missing the point picket. This is not the way the coaches or any team picks the 22 that runs out. They look at injuries, match ups against the next oppostistion, form, who needs to be rested, etc.

The term best 22 is so irrelevant. Each week there are injuries, match ups, form and player rest weeks (esp for very young players) which mean that the senior team might be chosen from around 30 players. At full fitness, Trengove is a good chance to play for the club because his skills, talent, knowledge of our team and the game. Obviously he'll be eased into it and he may not crack the seniors for quite a while, but talk of him not being best 22 is both moot and disrespectful.

Let's hope it happens in Jonesey's playing career. Would be a great way to go out.
-
Really looking forward to him kicking a bag against GWS in round 1. The rest up to then is just noise.

Yeah, that's exactly what I said. Helps if you can read. -

Big if you. Tell us Curry, IYHO which first year player shouldn't get a game until later in the season, only for us to see them play nearly every game and star? Last year you stood firmly against Brayshaw getting a game. Is it Oliver this year? Perhaps Tracc? Bwahaha! -

Why settle for one? Image two, or all three. Get these guys and we are close to top 4. Who's a possibility for not being at MFC in 2017 that will free up SC space? Dawes, maybe Watts and Grimes as RFAs? We also have some extra space in 2017 with the Milkshake cap rule. Get it done PJ. -
I take it that's a rhetorical question Maple. Of course the answer is no. Biffen was on a drug fuelled stupor for a month or two and has only just come back on board sober, and Bitters has been busy offending Demonland's own moral compass by going "boo!" In his face and poking a hallitosis riddled tounge out at him.
-
Welcome back on board Maple. Did you take a long trip back to your native Canadia?

Too right. Dr John, I think you are masking a homo-erotic phallic infatuation with a failed attempt to call upon history and humour as your point for posting. Get a grip man!

2014 recruiting creating a dynasty
Moonshadow replied to Its Time for Another's topic in Melbourne Demons
I want 3 flags over ten years. That way we will be close to becoming a power club that can pizz all over Eddiewood, Hawks and the Cats. One flag is not enough to ensure our survival. No going back. -
Should be a crime against adulthood though

I think time has eroded the legibility of that sign Bitters. I believe it more than likely read "Dr John Hewson"

Very well put citydee. We still need Roos to be the main man in 2016.

Jesse Hogan and his kicking for goal (merged thread)
Moonshadow replied to Ricky P's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah yeah, but the point some on here have made is that it is not a great action and could nail more goals if it was smooth and straight. Even WCE Kennedy has reaped the benifits of straightening his up. Jesse's field kicks look natural and fluid and rarely miss their target, his set shots look like they intend to be done on his left. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JOSHUA WAGNER
Moonshadow replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
Needs to add a few more strings to his bow, blah blah blah..... -
Big Max does it all for me!
-
I've said it a number of times before, but Jesse Hogan needs to fix up that set shot routine. He would nail more if it was smooth and straight.
-
Conchita Wirst must have exhausted you Earl. Are you a bicycle MAMIL or are you a fixie man?

As is OMac, but this is good senior experience towards their development. They went missing at times and had some miserable turnovers, but both steadied in the last and looked much better. Not sure if they'll play round 1, but this is good for them long term.
