Agree with your thoughts about recruiting but what people are forgetting is that by the end of the year if this group of players keep improving the dependency on draft picks goes down, how about we see how the season goes before everyone gets to excited.

Absolute rubbish one extra pick will not make the difference with us winning the flag, so what if we get the two picks and one does not cut the mustard does that mean we will not win the flag ?

The Brendon Lade incident a few weeks back cemented my thoughts, and I totally agree that if he is not already effected by this, he will be in the future if this continues. There are other players who could play this position, maybe less adequately, but they could at least hold their own. They will remain nameless because of the backlash others posters may attribute to the sentiment.

One of the better posts on this subject I think people should sit down and think where we started from as a club in the past and where we are now, big difference if you think about it.

At last someone who watches the game that happened last year and the pre season this year, time and time again and he is overlooked mainly by the senior players I also noticed on Sunday that Jones started taking the first option in passing the ball off quickly instead of trying to barge through, Scott West might be getting through to him at last.

Well what it shows is that people think you are wrong on your assessment of DB and guess what, they are right do you really think that we will be challenging for a top eight position this year this year? but hell there is a great upside for this club, just not this year so give them a break.
