If he is really fit and firing, this is also a plus as the opposition will have to put a better backman on him which hopefully free's up robbo, miller from getting double teamed and this might make things a bit easier for the other forwards but it will depended on how far he has come along a long way I hope.

Why is everyone getting their knickers in a knot about this issue they will announce the captaincy when they are ready so it's no big deal if it is Jmac good luck to him, for what it's worth I believe that DB wants to bring along a group of young leaders all at once for the future (gee haven't we been wanting this for a long time) but we must wait, oh I know we have waited for a long time but changing a culture takes some time and in the end that is what we all want.

What it does tell me that the culture is changing at the club and about time, DB might never get us to the promise land (I think he will ) but we will always remember him for this for taking the stand of if you don't want to be here nick off, play for the club and jumper not yourself.

Unfortunately the 100 point thrashings will occur during the year because these kids will tire out during the year there is only so much can be expected when boys play men, but I do think there will be an enormous improvement during the year, let's not expect to much of them straight away.

May I ask during your discussions will they build a gym done there as it seems we are able to benefit with a Pool, Indoor area, hell we could have it all great move by the club I say.

Is the same McGuane who then coached the Balwyn Tigers seniors team in the Eastern Football League Division 1 in 2007. He came to the club at a tough time as they move into the highly rated EFL competition 1st Division. McGuane's coaching saw Balwyn into the finals in their first year in the competition (looked up on the internet) He has a good record maybe he got the young players to take their nappies off and with a lot of big recruiting is the reason they improved......
