Stop kicking to pockets, open the forward line up, Jesus we are predictable.

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Just wish they would look in board in the forward line there was at least times players on their own across the ground that could have walked into goal.

CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Against the bottom side beaten by 91 points, if the club thinks he is ready he will play but I don't think we need another Watts style intro to football arena, but who knows...

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I can see where you are coming from and understand your reluctance on the length of the contract, but we don't know what the conditions of these contracts and whether they are might be front, middle or back loaded or a mixture of them, but sometimes you need players that can fill these roles and they are just as important as a gun player and going by the past they are hard to find because some players will only accept what they think they are not what's good for the team, and thats where Gus fits in, gone from midfield, HB flank and wing so as much as I might think it might be a tad long I think it's for the best for the team going forward.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
A smart forward would have caused front on contact by moving forward on him causing contact.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
One can keep blaming the umpires, but that only papers over the cracks we have in the game plan with how to switch play, how to open up the forward line as I have said before teams have worked us out, but is it to late to tinker with the game plan I hope not.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
No it did not, if your blaming him for losing then you are not watching the game 8 goals to four after halftime not good enough.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
May rarely makes to many mistakes, give him a break, the amount of ball time in their half he did ok.
-
POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
They have no clue how to switch play and what goes with that, they never look inside going forward, they are so focused on going down the line they know nothing else, example harmes bursting out the centre milkshake is free and goal side, he kicks it to the pocket no thought.

That was not the problem let's not make excuses.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Absolute disgrace, a game that should have been won, remind me who is the midfield coach is we were lucky Trelor went off the ground subed out, once the dogs tightened up in the backline they knew we only going to go down one side of the ground again, unless they start to change course we will struggle to win the flag playing this way.

GAMEDAY : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
By 20 m more like 50 he just lacks composure in critical times.

CASEY: Rd 18 vs Footscray
Needs a bigger body but christ he reminds me of David Schwarz in his movement.

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Why do forwards have a need to play from behind, I just don't get it, we do nearly all the time as well.

Farewell Luke Jackson
I suppose i'm at an age that if a player or players want to leave a club so be it and am still of that opinion, I also understand that loyalty is not what it used to be in terms of football clubs, so with that if they want to go just get the best deal you can and move on, we will also lose some young talent because they want to play senior football not VFL every year that is the nature of the beast , the more success you have the more you have to play players to keep them and sooner or later it catches up with you, so instead of worrying about it lets see what happens at seasons end.

Greg Stafford - Forward Coach?
Sorry you cannot understand "worked us out" simple to me but...Has the cats changed the way they are playing? yes because teams worked them out where they would slow down play switch across the ground and go nowhere, has Carlton changed the way they play yes because you have to tweak how you go about things, it's simple. I also said it was a small teak inside the big picture, not a fail as you put it.
-
Greg Stafford - Forward Coach?
Because teams have worked us out, same as kick outs, out to the left out to the left, but as I said it is not a huge fix but it need changing.
-
Greg Stafford - Forward Coach?
Yep that was last year hate to tell you it's a new season, as I say history is to be remembered not lived, but it's only really a small adjustment in the bigger picture but it needs to be done.

Is David Noble the new Mark Neeld?
Noble got screwed over by the players just as Neeld did, now saying that Neeld had is faults but when you lose the players you lose your job. When the players run the roost it is hard to change, when Jackson and Roos came in they could not rise against them as they had the score on the board so everyone fell in line.

Weid or Rooy?
Where is this stat? just interested.
