I'm old, but not old enough to have seen RDB play. .
As for Robbie Flower, my favourite player ... by the length of the straight. So skillful, brave, loyal, modest. I think I'm tearing up. (Not really.) RIP great man.
BF reminds me a bit of Gunston. (Jack, not Norman.)
I've always been envious of other sides who bring in new players who seem to slot in straight away. I can't remember offhand a Melbourne player like that ... until now. He looks like he belongs !!! I realise that young players often lack consistency, and CS will no doubt have his good and bad games. But he looks a ripper !!!
Odds for next match, Saints $3.37 Demons $1.33. Ridiculously generous odds on Saints, even though they are a very poor side.
Having said that, MFC plays its best football at Etihad.
I'm having Sunday afternoon off. Not going to the match or even following the scores. Having watched losses v Geelong, Hawthorn and Richmond, I need a break from disappointment. (Well, I've been a supporter for 50+ years. You'd think I'd be used to it by now!)
I put money on the drug cheats. I'm predicting Daniher back in form ...
I've been winning my bets this year, Geelong/Hawthorn/Richmond. Money for old rope. I'd rather lose my money though.
Go dees ...
Brings back memories. I copped an infection after a shoulder operation. Couldn't get rid of it after a lengthy course of strong antibiotics. Ended up back in hospital on a drip for 5 days. Then had to carry around a portable drip (which I was attached to) for 2 weeks.
As for Trac, 4 - 6 weeks ... obviously.
