Max was unbelievable. Would have been carnage if not for him. Fritsch was pretty good. Pass marks for a couple of others. Hopefully the club issues "participation" awards to the coach and other players. Sadly the way the day unfolded was the least surprisingly thing I've ever seen. I had money on Saints at the ridiculous odds of 6-1. I wish I had lost my money. So, that's 0-3 for close games this year. The Johnny Northey sides had a great record in close games. Same old, same old.

I wonder what it feels like to go to a Demons match confident of a win?

I don't rate Frost. Never looks assured at the contest, and his disposal is very iffy ... It's a shame that the ruck experiment with him a couple of years ago was unsuccessful. It could have been his saving grace. Pretty and Keilty are obviously now ahead of him. Not convinced about J. Smith either, but probably too early to make a considered judgement.

Tmac won't play this week. Tyson simply not good enough and has to be dropped. Jeffy should definitely play. I'm OK with Sam getting a game at the expense of Bull. Frost has been given so many chances over the year, but hasn't taken them. Time to move on and give one of the young fellas (Petty or Keilty) a go.
