We've still got two years of Jamar and Pedersen, unfortunately.

I haven't seen any Casey games this season, so I'm just going off what I've read. None of Tapscott, Davey or Byrnes deserve a game either, and from many accounts Taggert has had some good form in the last few weeks with this past weekend's performance being the anomaly. Blease doesn't get a game from me because he always seems to disappear when he makes the firsts. Nicholson is a butcher. Magner is a VFL player. Same goes for Jetta. This season's a lost cause anyway, I want to see what some of these untried players can do when given the opportunity. There's no point wasting games on players like Byrnes and Davey because they won't be around next year.

Two spuds and a senior citizen. When you've had two wins through 14 rounds, these aren't the decisions that should be agonized over; they're simple.

I wonder where he and Martin would rank if they were in this year's draft. Anyone who has some good info on this year draftees care to speculate?

If you add Grimes, Viney and McKenzie to our midfield, we start to look a whole lot better. Hopefully we'll be able to get all of the players that are on this list back out on the park in 2013 and string a few more wins together.

With Watts having a pretty good game up forward on the weekend, I think many would like to see him stay there. Add in Hogan, Dawes, Clark and Howe plus a resting ruckman and there isn't much space remaining for talls. I think if we are going to go for a forward we'll be moving on Watts during trade week, otherwise we'll be getting mids mids mids (which I'd prefer).

It's pointless having a great forward line if there isn't anybody that can get the ball to them.

And why is that? Just because it hasn't been done before doesn't mean that it can't be done.

That's a pretty extreme example. We need mids, not forwards. If the top few best players are forwards then we'd be better off trading the pick for an established midfielder.

I'd be happy with any of Aish, Kelly, Dunstan or Sheed. I still think that there is a very high possibility that we will finish below GWS this season and receive pick #1. As long as we draft the best possible mid with that pick, I won't be too upset.

The MRP is a joke. While I do agree that Spencer deserves a suspension (more for being careless than malicious), and that Dawes did milk Simpkin's "king hit" for all it was worth, there is no way that the former act was worse than the latter.

Apparently no charges or findings will be released until August. I think that on the back of an admission like this, Watson has to be suspended indefinitely and stripped of his Brownlow. I suspect, however, that he will be allowed to play on and will win his second Brownlow in as many years.

Which NHL players were there? Chicago's currently up 1-0 at the end of the 1st in game 5. What's the bet that this one goes to OT as well?

Chicago v. Boston final. After seeing Boston in round 1, I'm very surprised they've made it this far. Maybe the Leafs are a lot better than I thought, or is that just wishful thinking? Since I've barely picked any series correctly this season, I won't make a prediction. I hope it's a long series, though.

It's how I look watching most games, unfortunately.
