This year Martin has come along beautifully . His's confidence and surer ball skills were on show from the pre-season . So he might have to sort a few things , they all do . As he develops further he'll be a major asset IMO . With big Max around the ruck division will be bullet proof .

It's not just injuries , it's also injury management . Our players take forever to get over them . Our medical dept needs attention .

Fair point IMO , though we don't need to sack him , just not renew his contract at the end of year . Having said that , lets see what happens from now till then . The blokes on the field today we're just itching for the contest . Now there might be some real and not imagined contests within the side for positions and hopefully , that will show in games .

Trengoves tackle on Dangerfield (even though hes in my SC side) Tappy being Tappy . Jurrah being Jurrah . Jamar to Moloney. Sylvia playing like he should . Why was Petterd dropped ?

I agree . No-one should be dropped IMO . Even my brother inlaw who prefers rugby to football came over late in the game and of course loves to hang it on me about the Demons . 1st thing he says is the scores must be back to front . 2nd thing he says with 10 minutes left the Crows can still win it to which I replied we can kick another 10 . Was laughing at him everytime another sailed through . You could tell they wanted that 100pt margin . Then he noted Bates effort , "Wow , look at that bloke , almost got a triple throat rip." in reference to some movie he just watched . You could also see the blokes brought back into the side really wanted to show they deserved their place . Can only be a good thing from now on .... Hopefully .

I would . Talking about 1 game a couple years ago does nothing for your argument . Fact is he goes missing all too often . The man is has it all , power , pace , strong mark , great disposal . This club is crying out for him to step up , especially when we need something . Not just when we're going alright .

Gets singled out at training for hard tackling work , then gets dropped . Woulda thought they'd give him another week to show if he'd learnt anything.\ Talk about double whammy . Maybe they weren't happy with his efforts during the drill .

Let's face it . Collingwood fans get value for money , they've been up around it for years and I'm sure many of those extra 20,000 you speak have jumped on board during the last 2 . Do you think they're on the phones looking for lost members ? Maybe they are , I don't know . With our clubs record , I'm proud of the amount that do indeed stick fat . We've put up with a hell of alot of mediocrity over the years and this year looks more of the same . Jimmy wanted 40,000 members during the offseason , if they players had've produced some enthusiasm for the contest till now I'm sure he woulda got them but ..... No , momentum lost .

Can't stand the parasite Hutchison either and also think Lyon is a [censored] . That hospital sketch he was involved with Crawford they did a few years ago was about the last straw . Lyons standing nose dived from there with me and for that reason shudder at the thought of him coaching (not that it will happen). Cause I was asked . On the subject of receiving calls from players to renew membership . Geez , at times like these I'd love to receive 1 , ask them "What the F... is going on down there ?" I got 1 from a volunteer under danihers reign , after assuring him that I still intended to join I asked him if he saw the dribble we dished up the previous 2 games . "Your a Melbourne supporter" I told him , "You know how I feel." We ended up lamenting how disappointing we were together over the phone . Brothers in Arms .
