It is hard Robbie, we have seen it done the opposite way and that doesnt work, but i think your right in suggesting we could go too far the other way. I just hope as i bet you and others that we can get the mix right, bring in Viney, Pick 4 and maybe a Taggert ect along with the Dawes, Pedros, Byrnes ect to bring the mix right, and replace the Sellars and Bails or just put the pressure on for the in form players to get games.

Magner is making a difference simply due to training harder than Morton and Gysberts, he is leading the way and is worth alot of $$$ imo simply to put pressure on and set teh standards which have been so lax at our club during the modern era

They dont need heaps of picks, i think they will help him get to any club for nothing at all really, see morton. Due to his condition ect, and they obviously havnt been offered anything under 50 i imagine.

Our return is a spot on the list for the people we are bringing in, opening up cap space ect Martin, Morton, Moloney and Gyserts were obviously not considered needed

I think this is pretty right. IMO we hit a few nails that needed to be hit. Key forwards - Hogan, Dawes and Pedro (who can play back too) Small forward types - Byrnes, Rodan Mids - Viney and pick 4 both top 5 types imo Leadership - Dawes, Byrnes specifically even Rodan Hardness - Viney, Hogan looks physical, Dawes is physical beast ect If we came away with all this at the start of trade period i dont think there would be many complaints just how it happened after we got Viney as a bargain in a long deal. Also Moloney is not a loss imo, Rivers is and Gysberts and Morton have potential, i like them both but we will see

Cale and Gysberts must have been rates as the lowest of our prospective mids, especially with Viney and Pick 4 to move into their roles. We needed to cut some wood somewhere, it is unfortunate, will be very interested to see how both go, Gysberts more than Morton, but both still have "potential"

yeah i mean this might be the first year....i might be dreaming it though. Just stops clubs getting screwed by player walking to a bottom team when they would HAVE to be traded to a higher team.

Rivers and Gys are the losses, we got nothing from Morton, Moloney or Jurrah this year. we fill 2 of our needs small forwards and tall forwards. Add 2 more mids in viney and pick 4 and i think we have the balance right. You cannot add 3 young mids in one year it will throw the balance out, when you can draft someone just as good as them next draft and spread the load.

Why does it matter where the club is from?

Terry Wallace struggles, he cant connected the dots between Viney and Hogan and that is fine. He ran a football club ffs. Even guys like Bailey, Knights and harvey got assistants jobs, one bloke didnt

It has been mentioned, that is robbery i agree, i would think a pick around 50 would do it personally

I like it, we all said we need a small forward options, hopefully Aaron can get fit, along with Rodan and Byrnes, all of them can float across half forward if needed so good guns imo. Adds some pressure and when fit can be quite zippy and creative, all power to him and the FD imo. If nothing else it sends a message to a few people who thought that they were safe on our list, preform or be replaced.
