I thought Roos made the point it was Dew who applied for the role, i may be wrong, And that assistants are allowed to apply and accept roles which are of a higher position to their current role while under contract, as stated by the coaches association.
-
I think one of the points is that we cant poach them, as there is a draft. The point was made however that we are supposedly into 2 of their assistant coaches one being Stuart Dew, who has applied for the senior assistant position, however has been refused an interview at the swans end as he is contracted. Roos went on to state he had sought clarification on this and was told that you could apply while contracted for higher positions, eg senior assistant or senior coaching roles

Wow, great work by the boys, and i know Colin Sylvia does alot of visits to hospitals ect, great work from the MFC players to get involved like this. makes you proud to support a great club like we do. -
Yep corss this one off this list imo, would be silly to trade a product like sloane for pick 2 imo
-
Shaw is barley steak knives to a pick one deal after the wekeend i would have thought, and Swan is not going to get you half way there i would have thought
-
Yes i agree, could be worth a look
-
He doesnt look quick but still seemed to have time to make the right decisions and put his body on the line when required will only grow from here.
-
Because there are only 4 "country clubs" so a couple of the outer metro clubs are designated country

Watts back, beard gone and salvation is on its way.

I agree with your argument but Tapscott only laid 2 tackles on the weekend, Watts had non which is a big gap in his game. Watts is all over Tapscott in terms of forward capabilities though, and bail doesnt have the vision or skill to be damaging. We really need t Watts to have Bails defensive pressuring ect but keep his skill and vision. Also we had about 4 players in total with more than 3 tackles that is poor.....especially when the opposition have the ball 100 more times than us -
wow you must hate life

Another poster on BF reported that Joel Mac trained well with good disposal, just saying -
beat me to it

3 days longer than the first roll out.......

Maybe on stats but i am saying in general Hawks defence having him in it is far better than last year, cant say he is a bad defender i dare you? will make them harder to score against because they never leak goals even with it being their weakness imo
-
yes but they recruited a bloke by the name of Brian Lake! meaning Gibson can lay 3rd tall potentially cutting intercepts all day and running off players
-
The only thing a think we were stiff on is the Defence, as good as the forward line imo, probably deserves to be in the 8-10 category. Midfield is poor and will be until Toumpas, Viney and one other step up imo Forwards are around the mark but is hard to say with Clark and Dawes having a combined 10 or so MFC matches

I know its the red, and agree its not red, more maroon i just find a bit of a joke in it that every year its one of the first questions you ask about members packs ect :is the red red or is the red maroon" justified, doesnt bother me as much though
-
What are the thoughts on Scarfs to give it to OldDee? red isnt red is it? blue is definately dark though?
-
I think your going to be disappointed, not much improvement in the red (if any) sorry OD
-
I think they are just sending them out now, i am direct debit so i imagine they just started sending them
-
I got my members pack today! (country) scraf is definitely a darker blue closer to Black! much darker if this helps?
