You paint a very ugly picture there Jose edit- can you play on after breaking it? or was that his season ending injury? say he kicked goals after it? i dont quite follow, anyone?
-
good point looking for similar threads would have paid off!!!

Pretty close imo, i dunno where Taggert is at but definitely deserves a shot at some stage edit forgot Couch was ill.....so keep Moloney in

http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/137066/default.aspx Scans on his foot, been managing an inuury and is only precautionary, but this is our biggest fear, we will be shot without Chip

I agree he is slow, but he is doing all the 1% right, even being noticed by one of the normally hard at us commentators, maybe brerton mentioning 1% not just tackling. Pointing out he is tackling hard, he had 10 tackles against maybe the saints and is 2nd for us behind Jordie in tackling, this is a big part of the game now and would be missed. I acknowledge that other parts of his game seem to be lacking atm

100% and to think BP and the crew had a long pause before calling out Toms name, seems one of the best value pick from the 2010 draft at this stage
-
So what your saying is that we should make BR the next forward coach yes?
-
that was from an adelaide paper i believe, others saying 2 vic clubs are also intersted
-
Had not heard of this, but would mean that we would struggle to get Rendell for longer than 6 months unless we take on 2 key recruiters.....not a bad idea just not sure how that would work.
-
Geelong also have compo pick to trade. so 2 late first rounders, maybe one mid Essendon dont know how to trade anymore, as seen with Caddygate
-
I heard on BF i think his wife lives in VIC apparently

This could be a short term contract even? leading into a similar or other role
-
That is a fair call, does anyone know if he is injured? only 1 game this season??
-
Dont think he is a leader at port but think he could be a valuable addition to our midfield for sure, nothing more than pick 12 though imo, only some fluff extra
-
is quite/very sad that you seem to take so much joy in a talented MFC players struggle with form. I thought he was good until last week also he will be back within the month

pretty funny if thats all he said haha, some people are so precious

I think at this stage he is giving everyone a chance when they are fit, how much further these players go will be interesting as a numner of them seem to be sinking rather than swimming atm, can neeld help them swim or not?

Players who have improved under Neeld
Jordie_tackles replied to Jordie_tackles's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agree with the sentiment on Jones, being 24 he should and is coming into the prime of his career so to speak, and has been better nearly every year he has played which is exactly what we want. I think if we can get more players from the second group i mentioned, plus guys like Magner, Gysberts and Strauss, Tapscott to join this group then we have 15-18 players who will play Neelds plan really well. This leaves most likely Viney and 4-5 new recruits until we have a competitive 23. edit also think Moloney can be handy, read somewhere he is recovering from some OP (missing 2 games earlier) maybe and is just a bit underdone, maybe we are all being a bit harsh on him, he still has the potential to be a big cog in our team i believe. Sylvia has never done enough, so holding out hope seems naive. -
List them - Jones Howe Mcdonald Morton Bartram Not a long list imo, although i think players such as Trengove, Grimes, Watts, Mckenzie, Frawley, Jamar, Rivers have been about as good as ever Blease only played one game but looked great So what does this say? are we heading in the right direction as a whole with these 12 or so core players? or have been going backwards from where we were completely? With players such as Gysberts, Clarke, Magner, hard to compare to this gives us around 16 core players, is this enough to build the team around, and will they be good enough? Will Moloney, Sylvia, Garland to ect come back into contention/form? What are everyone elses thoughts?

David Schartz on SEN at 4.20pm today
Jordie_tackles replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just watched this exact same video rogue, watching these older clips really shows how little our players care atm imo. The teams in these video's loved it. In saying this it is hard to be up and about when you are losing EVERY game, we would be just as [censored] off if they were celebrating like this while down by 60.......hard to please -
Thats what the stats say, but he was at the bottom of a number of packs that i saw when the opportunity arose. i dont think he avoids putting his body on the line when its his turn, just my opinion.

Mate get over yourself, was just pointing out that people get upset about when we play like we do, with the comparison to 186 and people questioning the respect between players and coach ect. At the time people suggested that the players were making a statement and again the players are being brought up as in relation to effort ect and feelings towards admin and coaching staff. i just commented on the similarities (and it was a tongue in cheek comment).
-
Didnt they do similar to Bailey or the board pre/during 186? seems to be a trend
-
Not doubting this fact, but we will get Viney and a top 4 pick most likey ass top mids, then we still have Blease, Gysberts, Jones, Trengove, Morton, Moloney, Magner, Mckenzie I think our mids can come on in 2 years, and yeah a Sewell will be nice for teh right price but that price will be huge to get them from a premiership team imo Just like Clokes is

who is our second best goal scorer this year? i bet they have about 4 goals in 7 matches. edit - Jones a midfieler 7, Howe 6 yes Dunn 6 and Bate 5 who most want delisted. not terribly exciting
