Farmer, Woey, Powell & Mclean for me. Loosing McLean was a shock at the time. He was one of my favourites and seemed to love the club. Loosing Beamer is similar really, played some good footy for us, but got out when they had the chance to leave somewhat on their own terms. Jurrah feels different because i had assumed Neeld might have cut him loose at the end of the year anyway. Scully is a dog. I always smelt a rat, but purchased a jumper with #31 on it the day of his press conference. Lets hope they bestow this honour to Jack Viney so i can wear it with pride

I'd prefer to rookie some outside pace/run from the WAFL/SANFL rather than hold onto couch. Kane Mitchell comes to mind

No doubt that Martin could play good footy elsewhere, but he is surplus to our needs, and you cant trade away trash for treasure. Matin & Pederson are probably of a similar value, but seeing as we have Gawn, Spencer and Fitzy on the list, Pederson is more to our needs than martin

I know its not the case, but in my eyes Taggert is almost like a free draft pick this year. I reckon he'll show a fair bit this season

When i started reading reports about the Dee's taking a "moneyball" approach to the trdae/FA period i was sceptical - thought it was more of a media beat up based on a interesting concept and a decent movie. But if we get Ray, Pederson, Byrnes, Dawes etc then the look of our team will be drastically different in 2013, and the moneyball comparisons wont be too far off.

yeah he trys hard, and must be confused about what his role would be in our side. Good luck to him at his next club or for life after footy. Is guitar playing is mediocre at best so for his sake i hop he gets a go at another club!

yeah just goes to show that players want to play at clubs where they can expect success. All 3 pick ups are guys who were wanted in some capacity by their previous club, but chose to leave.
