  2. Commentary from broadcast is kept subliminal here. Plenty of free air for the 'A' team On the Couch. What is more concerning is the commentator's dress sense. Jon Ralph looks like he swallowed the Cheshire Cat kitted out at Boysland and Luke Hodge's blue check two piece the other night would make a sideshow spruiker proud. Dermie well Alma Hope says "no hope".
  3. With growing confidence from last week's performance, expect Demons to authoritatively take on Hawks.
  4. GWS at home no problem. All their fans, still fit comfortably with social distancing in place at the Sydney Showgrounds.
  5. Not unless you've got a MQ-9 Reaper parked in the garage.
  6. Judging by this week's installment of 'The Talking Points' Goody's proselytising on this one has been about as successful as his game plan according to many Demonland posters.
  7. AFL may be holding that card out, as a possibility of 'last resort'. Who knows, Gil and the team may already be casting for the sequel Aussie rules On the Beach. Much prefer the original movie to the locally re-made for TV version (2000). Plus, 1959 was a very good year for the Demons. Meanwhile if a mysterious nuclear powered submarine turns up in Darwin Harbour, it'll be game on.

Nascent you've provided a brilliant intuitive list of the whereabouts of the MFC players. Whilst others continued flipping through the pages of "Where's Wally?". Will have to politely refuse your kind offer of those numbers, as the 'magic' appears to have left.
  9. Gold Coast $uns indeed. With high compensatory and priority picks. The 'Franchise' has loaded up with draft talent from the 2018 and 2019 drafts. With 25% of the available top ten of those drafts going their way, the ☀️ is shining out of a very dark place.
  10. Currently experiencing a balmy, covid free 28 degrees C with a low relative humidity of 14%, ESE wind gusts up to 46 km/hr. If MFC are penciled in for hub here, expect to have home ground advantage at Marrara. Let the circus begin.
  11. Will NSW border stipulations apply? Or are there special provisions for the AFL?
  12. MFC is clearly a Family First club.
  13. Tarax Show has been out bush this weekend communing with the crocodiles and other wildlife at Ngurrungurrudjba. We celebrated later with a big bold cabernet sauvignon-shiraz blend all round. Anyway here's our ( ) take... Joeboy - keep on sunnyside! Gawn - Captain in control Viney - back on top Jetta - junk yard scrapper May - big burly bloke Hibbert - form renaissance continues O McDonald - solid redemptive performance Lockhart - big city lights Langdon - wing ding king VandenBerg - running into bodies Brayshaw - onions going cold Oliver - skills determine class Fritsch - improving goal accuracy Melksham - Nasher understands Jake Bennell - time and space Pickett - doing team thing Petracca - drove big nail! Tom McDonald - eye early casualty Weideman- cool kick Sam! Hannan - possessions belie impact Harmes - midfielder midfielder midfielder Salem - rolled up sleeves Lever - intercept maestro returns Goodwin - positively influenced result MFC - magnets finally composed Umpires - racked up Rankine
  14. Unsure DC did add ? mark. There was some discussion earlier in the week about its availability to current subscribers.
  15. Kayo $5 for 2 months?
  16. see Nascent post on NSW hub thread earlier this week. Pretty well spot on IOE.
  17. Karo will be pleased...remember the highly publicised player led revolt re: repeat commando style training camp pre-season 2018? Bricks on the head etc. Drew a lot of media heat at the time. Obscured but not quite buried by the finals surge at the year end. The ‘noise’ will only be cancelled by some protracted flipping of the switch...
  18. That may be rather difficult. If the Gold Coast Suns are true blue dinky-di Queenslanders they will not have a suitcase between them. What they will have is ports.
  19. Not an admirer of the 'horror' genre but the Stanley Kubrick movie was scary.

All inquiries can be re-directed here.
  22. Nascent are you the MFC travel agent? As this is a most prescient list.
  23. That appears to be six of one and half dozen of the other.
  24. Check out the above video. Neville Jetta is confirmed too.

Not necessarily, according to Josh Mahoney on this week's The Talking Points, the decision to take less than the full available playing list was taken after consulting other clubs with hub experiences. Where the belief was a reduced roster of players worked best. Plus the need to manage the pressure on players with young families. Apparently seven families with babies/young kids have accompanied the MFC contingent. Those left behind will be supervised by five senior coaching staff and will have the opportunity according to JM to undergo intensive professional development. Corey Wagner appeared to be reasonably prominent. in the Blue team colours in the interclub scratch match at the 'G', two weekends back. Kyle Dunkley, another developing midfielder, performed well in last weekend's scratch match according to Demonland reports. James Jordon and Tom Sparrow are in Manly, so are closer to selection. If the season manages to stay alive, opportunities for Corey Wagner and other players in the Casey sub-bubble may occur later.
