Stephen Tingay - The old woolen Pioneer Homes sponsored jumper with the # 2 still gets a run now and then. Loved Stinger, was awesome on both sides of the body and had some ripping duels with Peter Matera, something many other more noted players struggled with. Not afraid of any contest. Allen Jakovich is damn close but Stinger is # 1. Frawley - love a big f off CHB and Chip is that even though he has yet to display that this year.

Acknowledge Green has had an average start. He could easily have been an All Australian last year and changed his football around to become a very courageous player over the last 5 years or so. Give him some slack for an average 5 games for gods sake. Didn't see the show but got a text from a Collingwood friend pr!ck, "just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Melbourne - brad green's performance on ch10 has done more damage if you can believe it".

My previous post alludes to what I think of Cook. But disagree totally re Darling here HT as it was his ability to hit up so well and make good decisions against Hawthorn that stood out. Weagles press up has much to do with his ability to be that link player coming up from half forward.

Isn't that the main bone of contention here? That we didn't go with the ready made? I've not seen a person say a bad thing about Cook as he looks a fine prospect. We needed a ready made as much water will go under the bridge before Cook is ready, especially going by the development or sometimes lack of with some of our boys. Not sure this decision would have been entirely BP's in any case. But I believe that a stronger coach, or coaching group would have made an opinion known and perhaps gone for what we needed as a football side. Not as damn social experiment in the upbringing of fine gentleman.

Watts, Jamar, Tapsccott showed a willingness and an appetite to contest and compete. Very little of this comes from too many others currently. A sad indictment on many players that have been around 4 or 5 years. Stuff whether they were average, ok, going to be a superstar or just very good players. Show me you want to compete and improve and that your not damn scared to second guess yourself, both physically and mentally.

Just give me some effort that was there against the Lions at the 'G in 2010. Where is the chase downs like Green on Trav and the other front on crunches on display? The effort against the Dogs in the wet. Why can't we start a game with some fire in the belly? Stuff this hype crap. Give me something, anything! This place goes into meltdown after a loss because after 5 minutes we are out of a supposed contest and that adrenalin needs to be used up somewhere!

Players like Jurrah and especially Aaron Davey should not be missed. These players need to get harder, more physical and stop jumping out of the damn way. So many of our players should have only been born with one arm. The only ever reach in at a contest.
