Isnโ€™t their coach making a comeback too.
  2. Vaguely recall the there is some biblical reference to dresses made from hair. Smith is an ideal sub, but can we really expect him to do this every week? Though I seem to remember JJ doing it in 2021. Which reminds me - is Disco Turner still injured?
  3. Petty and JVR are both fierce and aggressive contestants. They make defenders think twice and doubt what will happen next. Exactly. Petty's aggression and his defensive skills are as important up forward as down back. David Neitz #2 ?? That said, and it is of course a big IF, if Jefferson develops as quickly as JVR has, by 2025 perhaps Harry will be able to move back to cover when May is finishing up. Am I right in saying that Glenn Swan's career was another victim of Leigh Matthews unconstrained thuggery?
  4. It was joy to watch - movement up forward. Have been waiting a long time to see this, and I hope it is here to stay. Both Petty and JVR are very mobile for their height,
  5. You forgot punctuation. What? Was their doctor thinking? Should have, as should the Essendon doctor. AHPRA requires that the doctor must put their patient before their employer.
  6. Looking forward to the podcast more than ever before as there are so many things to celebrate, and to speculate on for the remaining games. Win the next seven and ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ† What a great win - gives me a feeling of 2021. We looked just so much fitter in running out the game. When 20 down I had similar feelings as in the late round Brisbane game 2021 - confident that we would run over them. binman - is this truly the loading starting to work?? Delivery into F50 still a bit to work on though having HP and JVR actually moving, making a lead, into whatever limited space there may be does give those upfield something to consider. Where does Frittata fit in? Some sort of rotation with these two? BB certainly looks like a break glass option now as does TMc if he gets back on his feet. Canโ€™t really see a spot for Spargo now.
  7. How can two defenders not kill that ball?
  8. Any data on pressure ratings binman?

Maybe he will be brought back to have a last hurrah, and tweak the hamstring in the first contested run? binman - as you know I always look forward to the podcast but I expect (regardless of tomorrow's result, which I expect will be a decent win) this one to be an absolute beauty. Can't wait. Cheers

After all the talk and work on concussion this year in particular, can the AFL seriously allow Port to get away with this?

Little question that they were both KOd. Something stinks. "Migraine" FFS ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Disgraceful. Maybe the "Integrity Officer" ๐Ÿ˜€ will investigate. Should forfeit all points for the year.

Just watching the Kayo mini of GC$ v Bears. The ground surface looks like 1980s VFL. And this is the billion dollar AFL franchise. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ PS: nothing I saw changed my certainty that Daniher is one of the dumbest, laziest players in the AFL.

No 50 against Dixon. Didnโ€™t return the ball, and gave lip. Would have been a certain Crow goal.

mmmmโ€ฆ.. not so sure. Hope the concussion test was done thoroughly.

Horrible clash with Jones and Alir. Both look concussed. Big moment for this game and next week v Cats and maybe the next v GW$

There is a danger that we could finish 3rd, though we only need to win the next 7 straight for ๐Ÿ† regardless Looking forward to the demonland podcast analysis of this question โœ”๏ธ

But, binman, we drafted Adem Maric and James Strauss because they were elite kicks - big problem was that we didnโ€™t see much of this elite skill because they didnโ€™t have the ball

Risk / reward going down the corridor - pressure them and they are vulnerable No doubt they will just emphasise how important they are. One will of course be an 8 point game - Saturday week.

F'n maggots gifting a shot at goal with a new interpretation of deliberate behind - thankfully they missed. Can anyone find the stats on when it was last paid? Ridiculous rule anyway.

... and cleans up bloody Cox ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธin the process
  22. Billy - he has done a bit good stuff particularly early in games and up the field, but sadly his body does not allow him to run out a game, which means our sub has to be someone who an play his forward rรดle. And that in itself is not a viable option going forward.
  23. Was that the Jeff Farmer huge mark atop Gary Lyon's head? โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™ JVR, essentially a single position player, as sub??? Petty maybe, though, if he has recovered from his chest injury he needs game time, not bench warming.
  24. I think that the actual joke name of the body you were thinking of is the AFL Integrity Commission - maybe their job is to somehow someday to discover some.

Surely not a game at Casey if he is injured. Either fit to play or not.
