Tomlinson or KK
Good point JD. Baker as far as I read has had little mention in training reports. Surely if he can't get up for any of 2020 then he should retire (or be delisted).

Richardson Impressed
Melbourne have all too often known how to beat themselves in recent years, without any more input from Richo ?

Half-Time breaks
I Gil boasting about something in that picture? Or maybe a Christmas wish?

Dunkley and Rivers
I agree with those who feel it too early to write Dunkley off, though that said, all good teams have good quality âdepth playersâ.

Goddard Tips Dees to Recover
This from a sulking whinger whose opinion I care even less about than that of Mark Robinson.

TRAINING: Wednesday 18th December 2019
I am not an orthopod or a physio but the plantaris is a tiny muscle amongst some big company. (I tore mine once and it hurt like hell for a few weeks but hadnât bothered me since, not that I run or jump much.) But as I understand it its tendon can somehow irritate the big boys around it (soleus and gastrocnemius) without causing them permanent damage. The theory behind the surgery seems to be that removing the irritant allows the main muscles to go on unhindered. Kossieâs tackling technique, around the hips, looks great and will cause a good deal of grief especially for those with less core strength than CP5. Deeman. I had hoped to do just that but the link to the article wouldnât open. Sure. Nice photo, but was that guy ever any good? After all didn't the Hawks delist him? ??

Rule Changes 2020
Moonshaddow. You are totally delusional to think that the AFL and its MRO (or whatever they call it next year) even know what the word "objectivity" means.

Alex Rance Retires
He was "called" A lot like Harry O (though a better player) If Brooooce was naming the side both Prancer and Cyrrriill would be permanent members.

Harley Wonât Return to WA for the Holidays
Not quite sure how my post morphed into what your post quoted mine as saying?

Harley Wonât Return to WA for the Holidays
Bubona is the Roman cow Goddess who watches over and protects cattle. Does she protect calves too? Seriously though, this seems to be an indicator of his desire to leave no stone unturned - IF the fatted (or unfettered) calf comes to fruition then we could have unearthed a gem at little cost.

I think the reference was to an extra spot from the KK LTI.

Aaron Nietschke Injures ACL Again
I hope The Ox has an opportunity to reach out to him and support him. Rotten luck, again.

TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2019
" ....VDB played on a wing, mainly against Sparrow, and was BOG by some way in the first game and pretty handy in the next. If his feet hold up he is in. A couple of Dusty don't argue were highlights......" Thanks for that. IF he can remain fit he will be an absolute massive addition to our playing list. Here's hoping

Thanks so much for the great report. One question hit me - Did / could / should he (Jones) be doing the same with Tracc?

Nev Takes Kozzy In
Agree 100%. One can only speculate what might have been, had we had this in place when Sean Charles, Liam Jurrah, and maybe Wonna needed leadership and guidance. Three hugely talented players who for various reasons lost the plot.

TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2019
May I add my thanks to all who take the time and effort to post these regular reports. Very much appreciated. However there is one recurring question for which I canât remember seeing the answer: what is holding KK back? Should we hold out any hope at all or is just anything a bonus from here on in?

TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2019
Some thoughts from Aaronâs famous German philosopher Uncle Fred are particularly pertinent to Demon fans. To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering. That which does not kill us makes us stronger. Will 2020 give us meaning for all our suffering? All who can read this are clearly not dead, but are we stronger? Aaronâs knee did not kill him so will he live up to Freddieâs words and be stronger?

Half-Time breaks
I am sure that Gil doesn't even know that there are rows of seats from which the peasants watch the game, or have to queue for toilets -"what, no en suite"?

Its the forward line stupid
Only if the powers-that-be donât underestimate the opposition. Petty debut v Saints springs to mind, which events had longlasting detrimental effects on both the individual player and the team. Especially those who have been deemented since 1956 ?

TRAINING: Wednesday 4th December 2019
drdrake. Do you think Tiger Woods doesnât spend hours and hours using training and alignment aids because he doesnât think he can improve or become more predictable or even develop new shots? Doesn't Steve Smith work hard on techniques in the nets? I would be disappointed if our club decided not to try a training technique that may improve even a few percent any of the required skills. I applaud them for trying this. long face
