Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?
Great talent, but it looks like he doesn't really know what he wants, and whether he wants to commit to any club. IMO it would be a great risk to take him back, but all would depend on price and list space. And we would definitely require a full psychological assessment.

COVID Breaches by Clubs Could Derail Season
I am sure I remember early on in this COVID season planning there was discussion that any breaches (by players, officials or WAGS) would result in immediate end of season for the offenders, however as some of the higher profile breaches involved Collingwood and Richmond high profile individuals, nothing meaningful has happened. Now would it be different for example if ANB had committed a breach (of course before he was suspended)?

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
...and who know just what drugs they (or at least some of them) may have been on that day?

Adams and Buckley praise AVB
Even then, it looked as if most of the damage was done when his head hit the ground.

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
I am 100% sure that the next time a Demon does anything like that it will be a suspension. Didn't Hawkins get off yet again just a few weeks ago? And didn't Cuddington get off a few more times after that? Did he have the goat photos of Christian? Exactly - Burgiyne's two slam tackles were far more aggressive than ANB - the concussion there was opurely accidental. The ridiculous push and shove before the bounce would stop very quickly if frees were given (though I know which one would be picked out in a MFC game).

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
Too true - any wonder some may suggest that the MRP and the AFL are pits of corruption.

What they're saying down at Lulie Street
But the filf fans didn't know what a boulevard is. Street is much easier for them to say and even try to spell. fully human? Not even partially on that forum.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
On the performance vs Colonwood IMO he should stay in and TMcD miss out. Tom’s best is / was better than Preuss’ best but that is not right now. As I mentioned in another thread, if Tom’s problem is something that would it could well recover with a long lay off, with a good chance of returning to his 2018 output, then stop and get in with it now. And of course if MG11 ain’t anything better than 99.9% recovered then leave things as they are.

Tom McDonald
Put him on ice now and work on getting his foot and body back into the super athlete he was in 2018.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Maybe - but all those who called for young Jackson to be "managed" last week maybe they are managing Rivers.

Max Gawn Ruled Out vs Pies
And the Adelaide game has shown us that whacking someone incessantly behind the play is ok!

Ain’t hindsight great?

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Remind me - what he his injury been? If ever he was needed, this is it. Why else was he recruited? Do or die Braydon.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
FFS leave Weed where he does his best work. IF they ruck Weed after it becoming bleedingly obvious that it is not his role then they have lost me for all time.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Some sort of breakthrough news on 7 Jackson may be our for the year ? FMD, FMY, FML

Max Gawn Ruled Out vs Pies
Jackson, particularly, around the ground vs Grundy could be a fascinating contest.

Life without Gawn?
YES, we certainly need to make far more efficient use of Max's dominance but to say we are a better team without him is a huge stretch of the imagination. Presumably rhetorical questions to stimulate this discussion. IMO if we used his dominance even 50% better we would be near unbeatable. That is a challenge for Max, the midfielders both inside and outside, and the coaching panel. Hopefully even without him our midfield will have gained confidence and belief after the most recent game (whatever day that was?). JV7 is still a big asset but needs (like many) to learn a second thing to his bow - a pressure half forward could be a great asset.
