  1. Spargo is on fire Feel sorry for the Weed - no confidence in marking contests.
  2. Weed really needs to grab those marks if he wants to stay
  3. Umpiring awful Throws all ok apparently - we will be the first pinged. 10 Meter marks ok for them too
  4. Maybe the Doggies should wear masks - not us of course ?
  5. We’re you there? Every time Jacko went in ball we looked like winning a clearance. He provided a lot of drive.
  6. Salem sadly missed and will be a shoe in if fit, for Nev Jetta who sadly looks totally cooked. Jordan’s first bad game - maybe needs a breather, with Sparrow as the obvious replacement (though hasn’t had a run for a while …. bloody VFL rubbish scheduling). I would give Weed one more chance - absolutely crap delivery tonight and I can’t see that BBBBB would have done more as there was no delivery to a lead. Frittata, IMVHO, should be dropped before Weed - 2 shockers in a row
  7. Friggin maggots not a clue about playing footy - no way was that a deliberate OOB - the guy was pulled out of balance as he kicked it.
  8. Melksham didn’t “smash it at casey” because I don’t think they had a game. Wasn’t he the medical sub? Hard to do well, or poorly, if not used.
  9. Clarrie's was certainly the most exciting debut I can remember - even the Ox. I thought just wow! How can a debutante do such stuff.
  10. There is also the Mumford (actually, a series of them) precedent where nothing happens at all. But then, he plays for GW$ I wonder who brought it to Christian's attention then - cat have found it himself if he couldn't see the Langdon spear tackle off the ball. Once again, evidence that there is an agenda driven by someone high up in AFL house.
  11. More info please : height, weight, position, “plays like”? Certainly interesting names - can they play? Size, position?
  12. Could Christian’s consistent inconsistency be merely due to his undeniable incompetence, or does it suggest the possibility of serious underlying “agendas” at the highest levels? Seriously, how could he possibly condone / ignore Rampe’s highly dangerous sling on Langdon, then ping this?? Incompetence alone, even gross incompetence, cannot explain it.
  13. Flower Skilton Pavlich Stynes
  14. IMVHO Weed offered a lot more than BBB today - neither scored a goal but BBB looked fumble and was easily brushed aside, whereas Weed did some ruck work and provided contests around the ground.
  15. I guess we may know by this time Friday week.
  16. Hope Jesse kicks the sealer - but they will need to get the ball to him first.
  17. Watching the Richmond GW$ game on Kayo - cannot stand Eddie's awful barracking so called commentary so am listening to 3AW on digital and they just about synch. That Martin goal was over the line IMO
  18. REFRESH BUTTON: POPRT 7.1 FOOTSCRAY 6.2 Amazing turnaround
  19. But, of course, some heads are more sacrosanct (Selwood) than others (Max).
  20. One of my huge bugbears in umpiring is when a player who has the ball gets incorrectly tackled or buried under a pile gets pinged for holding the ball. IMO the prime umping duty of care should be to encourage the player to get the ball, and protect him, and ONLY if correctly tackled AND doesn't correctly dispose should he be penalised. All too often we see one ridden into the ground under 3 or 4 players and unable to get rid of it - HTB!!! Even though he has been the subject of "in the back" and often "high tackle / around the neck"! This only encourages the vultures of the game, and discourages the brave ball getter.
  21. They did give the Cats a free for holding the ball when the Saint player was grabbed by the ankles ... so blatant yet so wrong.
  22. That was the karma bus. But tonight Saints really blew their chances 100% in the first quarter. What a bloody waste.
  23. How prophetic. FMD taken by the legs rugby style - holding the ball!! And again no mention by the commentators. Umpires clearly under the direction of SHocking from the bench.
