POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide

I guess sometime the question will need to be asked - when Tommo gets up and about 2022, where do we fit him, Harry, Lever and May in? Harry forward maybe? Would he be trainable as (also) a back up ruck?

Coach with Aging Team Wants Shorter Quarters

The old VFA gave 16 a side away about 50 years ago - I for one never want to see it again. Agree that major rotational reductions would make a big difference to congestion after a quarter Orr two.

He has been described as fat and lazy - hadn't really noticed it before but I did then.

OMG - what a round of turn ups. Hate WCE arrogant fans especially at Optus. Suck it up.

What an awful indecisive spoil in the goal square .... Norf have been in danger of losing the wooded spoon but looking more secure now.

Umpiring reveted to form in the early minutes of Q4 - set up a couple of WC goals. And I reckon Ian Meckiff would have been feeling dudded having been called for throwing, given some of what WCE have got away with tonight.

Just turned on the WCE v NM game - 3.10 vs 3.2 at half time! Wont watch any more of to but sounds a completely uninspiring game.

Only 13 repetitious words - unimaginative, uninspiring and boring. We did lose May early in a vital match against a top key opponent, and won that game and the ones he missed. The umps cost us dearly in the final minutes of the Adelaide game, but seriously we should have been able to wrap it up way earlier.

I feel less morally compromised barracking for Norf tomorrow than for Colonwood today. Just so important

Great result for MFC - BNE % now below ours and 2 games clear. Now we need SYD to beat Geelong to open up the gap. And, not wanting to get ahead of ourselves, but we really need to gain some percentage v Hawks next week (hope that doesn't jinx us).

Truly nice dilemma to have. Harry has played as a forward (?2019?) to some effect, so could be anything.

Daniher is a seriously dumb player. Little awareness.

Maybe SHocking can drop in another dozen rules changes in as he heads down to Kardinia Park.

Yes the maggots let them get away with murder that last 2-3 minutes, but we should never have allowed them to get that close. Very disorganised defence (Salem out for Jetta) and some millionaire moments from our mids.

Half time - off to sleep. Bombers' complaining about the umpiring seems to have paid off well. 13-8 in a half.

I listened to 7 in the first quarter - hadn't done that for a while and had forgotten how bad it was. Now listening to 3AW, almost synchronised.

Awful game - how on earth did the Crows beat us and the Druggies push us for a while?

He has been building up and this was his best ever game. Well done Harry. Whilst his best work has been in defence, he has done a bit as a forward so his versatility will be valuable looking ahead over the coming years.
