  1. I hope the club hope neither of these will be needed in 2021. Brought in as insurance / back up.
  2. … of which there is probably one or maybe two.
  3. Confidence has been mentioned above - he certainly seems to lack that. IF he had held that mark in the first play, 4-5 seconds into the game, who knows how he would have played after that? Just hope those 2 vitally timed marks and goals in Q3 will boost his self belief.
  4. BBB and Oscar Baker wouldn’t notice.
  5. FCS all those who equate Alice conditions to Darwin, get real and check the facts. Alice on a winter’s night is actually cold and starts dry until the dew settles. Totally opposite of hot humid Darwin.
  6. That must be the reason - can't see many others
  7. meth coke ran out of … whatever they took in their 1990s dominant period, and maybe the peptide kids found where they had hidden it?
  8. As long as Albury ain’t Lavington - ask Ox about that place.
  9. Sure he (Jackson) is not kicking goals, which would be great, but he is setting up a lot and doing a fair bit of contesting / locking the ball in forward that is not even counted in publicized stats.
  10. I would certainly prefer what we are doing to those other clubs who have had some 10 goal wins but also some surprise losses (of which we have had one). Wondering if Footscray’s easy game last week was a factor in their flat game Friday? If so hopefully the same will apply to the Bears next weekend.
  11. But (perhaps) only by his lofty standards.
  12. What did they take tonight?
  13. The jumpers of both teams were shown on TV post match - no sane person could perceive any inkling of a clash, only some blind bureaucrat at AFL HQ, or I guess an umpire (or maybe Michael Christian), but certainly nobody in their right mind, or with any degree of visual acuity.
  14. Well if the fully booked accommodation (know it is from friends who tried to book about a month ago) includes Melbournians flying up for the game there will suddenly be lots of vacancies. I guess the NT government will be very cautious about exposing its vulnerable communities so it will depend a lot on what happens in Melbourne over the next 2-3 days. They may allow a tested team to fly in for 24-36 hrs but not allow ‘tourists’ to fly in and out.
  15. Maybe, just maybe they were considering ":resting" Langdon, but surely not for the Brisbane game.
  16. Rivers could fill the role pretty well and will be used to being part of the system - question then would be who to replace / backfill Rivers. Can any Casey watchers suggest anyone in form who can fill either role?
  17. Did anyone notice how and when it happened? Not mentioned in the commentary as far as I recall.
  18. Where did you get that lifelike photo of Libba?
  19. Didn't see it - was it in play? Who could fill his rôle?
  20. All contributed - interestingly I thought that it was far from Jackson's best game ... didn't do much in the ruck ... but he will be back. Surely it would be just plain stupid to roll the dice using. a medical sub in the last 5 minutes when the game was over ... could have rested him just with a rotation (assuming any remaining).
  21. So it was Langdon? Subbed off in the dying minutes? IF so then they must surely think has a 2 week injury. Would be a huge out. Who would replace him on a wing? Maybe Hunt?? But as to changes - Melksham mostly bog ordinary but it takes a lot to have him dropped.
  22. 6 OLIVER 5 BRAYSHAW 4 PETRACCA 3 LEVER 2 HARMES 1 RIVERS
  23. Did I miss some injury in the dying minutes? Radio 1116 said we had an injury sub used
  24. Listening to SEN while watching 7 - far easier on the mind!!
  25. Looking nearly safe now. 2 minutes, 5 goals
