You are missing the point of the discussion as it started. I said in reference to Jazza saying the players took the drug they are to blame end of story. My comment was that the situation was more complex than that and they were in a difficult situation at the time Oh and buy the way I do not have my head in the sand.

With one day of Parliament to go dc I doubt this will get up before Mr. Abbott returns as PM. 2014 looks the earliest that legislation will fly. I seriously doubt we will hear from Mr Dank before the EFC decision is announced

I have been to a few training sessions since the start of the year and the worst of the poor kickers like quite ok at training. The games seem to bring them undone. I am not saying we don't have close play at training but I always come away from training thinking it is like dancing with your sister. All the right moves but no heat and passion.

Whatever way I look at this It comes up "dont know all the Details" I still have this feeling the EFC is going to get off lightly. They just seem too confident.

I won't claim to know much about the law there are others on here that do. How can you sue the EFC if you signed a waiver saying I know I am taking AOD?

Tommy Mac is one of the very few success stories in our recruiting over the the last decade. He is limited by his kicking ability but still a mile in front of the vast majority of the first round picks we have had. He is a very good example of how you can get good players outside the first round. The MFC has got to get over it's pre occupation with Early picks and get quality from all picks.

Jazza I am not disagreeing with your basic premise just making the comment that I can easily imagine how this happened. However your comparsion above is silly it does not work.

bb we are talking about Footballers here most are not rocket scientists. Now that is not an excuse but I can imagine the pressure they would be under to perform and hold their jobs. I don't believe an AFL team would be like 99% of work places. They would put their trust in the likes of Hird, Bomber and the club doctor etc. IMO these are the people that should get it in the neck much more than the players. They did not do their job. Where was their duty of care? At this point there is only one person at the EFC that has any respect IMO and that is Robson who left because he did not do his job. The rest are trying to weasel out of their responsibility.
