    Having looked at both side in Carlton and Collingwood I find it hard to see the Pies winning tonight.The pies have been hit big time with injuries. I feel a very small pang for them. Blues tonight for me. Sad to say it Redleg but they are eight bound. Pies to miss.

    My view is we are playing Sydney not The Dogs this week. We have made one change forced by the injury to Blease. Not suggesting that is bad after a good showing min. changes shows confidence in last weeks winning team. However he is replaced with Grimes who has not played a game anywhere in eight weeks. Swans have mumford back. Swans by 8 goals if we have gained some confidence from last week.

    While we have not been great at developing players deerule I don't believe it has been our biggest problem.A large number of our early picks have been just plain poor. No amount of great development would have turned them into anything more than they were. Just poor picks that were poor players.

    I guess the difference is I think time already has told.However I don't hate him or anything similar He has played some good games but IMO the good ones are far outweighed by the bad ones. He always gives 100% as I have said on other threads, I just don't see him in our medium term future. But it is only my opinion

    Superman Now that does look good! Seriously Chook it does look better that some of recent times. But you are only as good as the other team lets you perform . We have all got excited in the past about how good our team looks only to be walloped. Excuse my pessimism but I will see how they perform before I get too excited.

    I agree Nutbean IMO Grimes is a backman Viney is a kid that needs another year or two And Mckenzie is a good VFL player.

    He has been correct a couple of times recently the last being Neeld's departure. If I had to choose right now it would be Craig. However according to the new rules we cannot talk to Williams or Eade as both look like being involved into Septemeber We have a while to wait. A few better performances over the next month and Craig's odds could shorten dramatically.

    You may well be correct rpfc I firmly believe that whatever he was destined to be was ruined by Neeld. IMO Neeld tried to turn him into something he was never going to be. The kid was skilful he played some very good games under Bailey
