You were suggesting he was another poor selection.I was trying to point out he was a rookie selection, if 1 in 10 turn out you are lucky. I have on numerous occasions pointed out i don,t think nicholson is good enough. But he has produced a lot more than a dam lot of people selected much higher Than him. IMO he played well on Saturday night .

The chase for early picks and PP's has bought the MFC to its knees. This club has to get over this fixation that early draft picks will fix everything. If it did we would be in the eight right now. Play every week to win, at the end of the season use whatever picks we get well. Then develop the young players we choice well. That IMO will see us rise up the ladder. But we always want the quick fix. Forget it, it does not work.

I have said before that when we compare these guys we are comparing degrees of the ordinary at best. The first requirement is to be someone who gives 100% and are frearless for the contast. Both get high marks I cannot fault them. However they are both serious short in the skill department. Both will constantly let us dowm in the disposal area resulting in turn overs that hurt and in the end cost us games. Both will be around the MFC for the next couple of years until we get better players. When we have a better midfield they will struggle to get games. Until then I grit my teeth when they get the ball as I know the what the next action is most likely to produce.

Also said it was a great improvement to have the Casey players train with the MFC group once a week. IMO he came over very well.
