Well after the Buddy deal and Sylvia leaving as expected I feel the MFC is sitting in a similar spot to the last seven years. A playing list that is largely not AFL standard and low prospects for the 2014 season. Now I know it is early days in the Trading / drafting season but so far not much talk and no action. I hope Roos is JC and can preform a few miracles with the current list because we are sure as hell are going to need them. However In Castlemaine on a near perfect Spring day typing, it just proves there are other things in the World that Football.

There are now not many of the "Old Guard" left. I feel a little sorry for him he inherited a disaster of a playing list.

I am biased but I think he has come a long way over the last two years. IMO right now he is easily the best of our Ruckmen. He is only 24 which is still young for a Ruckman. He has some mongrel in him a rare commodity at the MFC. I expect he will improve again during 2014.

Have you every been to a Crows game in Adelaide? Never been to a Freo one in WA but I find it hard to believe they could be worse than the Crows at Home. I only get pity over here from all and sundry DemonWA. I live for the day we are hated as much as Freo and Adelaide and Now Sydney.

Like most on here I used to hate Denham, he has got 90% of the things right about the MFC. He said we were recruiting poor players last year, said we were run by incompetents , called us the bears because we acted like Brisbane 20 years ago. Said we have screwed up with drafting for a decade. Guess what he has turned out to be right. I have a new respect for him.

Bugger all for lowly clubs like the dees. Sylvia and buddy are perfect examples. Buddy did want to play for easy beats in GWS and Sylvia wants a GF chance.

I agree with you bbNot sure there is anyone who would give anything of value . There is a reason we fell into two wins in 2013. The immediate reaction of most clubs is we have a lot of ordinary players on our list. IMO he has had one good season and a couple of serviceable years.
