Finals football is what creates reputations .Robert flower was hardly every seen during H and A games because in those days there were only two games televised and the Dees did not feature too often. Add in only a couple of finals games and his reputation is half of what it should be. For the guys above to reach more than good average players they need to play finals and winning gf's. Only then will they be classed in the same way as the people mention on this thread.

Henry must have been close the longest kick in competition during his era.Certainly the best kick pound for pound I have seen at the MFC.

When you consider it 2011 represents all that has gone wrong for the dees in the last decade. Top pick Clark while a good player has only played 15 games in 2+ seasons and our second, third and fourth picks are all gone two years later. Seems to be the story of the MFC until now.

All players make mistakes but we have a number who are regular offenders when it comes to poor kicking . Bail is a regular offender MD. Because of this problem I doubt he will ever make it at AFL level. IMO we have to ask ourselves the question "would this player get a game in another AFL team". The answer for quite a few is no. I am confident they will be replaced over the next couple of years.
