  1. In the previous decade DFMight as well be last century. Over the hill and far away will be the cry. We are building up his super.
  2. I suspect they are too tight and affecting his vision Redleg
  3. With the exception of the super claimant WJ I agree with your other comments.I see improvement already on the twin troughs of 2012 /13. There are still some better players to come in and as someone else said I get the feeling I will be able to go to most games in 2014 feeling we have a chance. PS The eye sight is fine particularly when I open both!
  4. No pain for me so far DFIf anything they are ahead of my expectations. In the last seven years we have never been remotely close to the cats. I know they had a number out from their best but so did we. We are starting 2014 from the pit lane That said we still have a large number of VFL standard players and Byrnes is the leader of the pack. We are heading the right way IMO
  5. Just imagine the criticism if the MFC had taken him with pick 38. "demons culture ruins potential star" would be one headline. But at Hawthorn it is painted as a positive story.
  6. Dream team points!!!!!!!!!!! So that is all you have to hang your hat on WJ For a x premiership player he should be out leading the band not being to compared kids making the way at the start of their careers. The guy is so far over the hill he cannot be seen with a telescope. God deliver us.
  7. My opinion is based on the following - I have not seen every game he has played - he has been out for a large number of games over his six seasons at the club for a number of different problems - My judgment of the games I have seen is that he is an average player in his best games. - Besides an honest trier I don't see any skill that suggests he would get a games with any side in the top 12 teams. Just an ordinary player who is often injured for long periods. -
  8. that is my opinion as well nutbean. you preserve with good players not average ones that are injury prone
  9. If he has a serious knee injury do you see him getting another contract Machsy?
  10. I am glad we are not pining our hopes for 2014 on that combination MD. One cannot get on the Park and the other is about two months away from AFL match fitness. The season will be over before they make the field together if at all.
  11. I have a low opinion of him Machsy on top of that every year he seems to be injured more than not. You cannot help win games if you are in the outer with the fans.
  12. No But there seems to be divided opinion on how good he was. I have had a low opinion of him since day one and constant injuries have reduced my belief even further. No matter how good you are if you cannot get on the park you are not much use e.g. Clark
  13. I have a similar opinion deeko Any long term injury might nearly be the end for JS.
  14. Some things are easy to believe DFOthers are next to impossible. He looks bad even after a bottle of red.
  15. Did not help us much last year when we played the cats!
  16. So we gave him a two year contract for one good game last year against that great team in GWS who finished last.Sort of like playing in the VFL where he should be. He is a has been that everyone knew except the MFC. Second wind! He would struggle to blow out the candles on his next birthday cake. I will stay with the superannuation benefit.
  17. That makes two of us.And from before yes I am easily please I just did no know you were!
