  1. Bendigo for me bb, we used to Play Echuca in the BFL many moons ago.Have a good weekend
  2. Is this just me? I find that I am now accepting of losing, Weekends come and go I know we will lose it is only the size of the loss that changes. I am rapidly losing interest in which player was our best, how did certain players go. I can never remember being this detatched. This Saturdays match is a perfect example, we have not beaten North or won at the dome of death for so long I cannot remember a win. We all know the result and do I care in 2013 not really. This Saturday I am off the country to see my old side that I played for long ago and meet a few old cronies. Good weekend coming up I hope.
  3. My friend Custard hates being called a "Tart"
  4. I have ever confidence you can bring all that to an end Bbo
  5. Nothing on this thread in 24 hours is more informative than 30 postings on a lot of the other threads. e.g. the prattle on the "Jobe Took The Drug" thread over the last week. Some times silence is golden!
  6. Redleg I am shattered Brynes is still in and Spenser has gone to Darwin as an emergency. Obviously we know nothing re Byrnes and Casey has been dudded again.
  7. I assume you mean soccer dc. It is probably that i was bought up on a 100% diet of Aussie rules but nothing happens to my untrained eye. I watch for an hour then go to the loo for 1 minute to miss the only score for the game. I may have watched 100 hours in my life and seen one goal live. I truely struggle with the concept that a nil all game can be "a great game"
  8. I follow most football codes in the order below bb Aussie rules Then large gap Rugby League Gridiron Rugby union very large gap Soccer. The last one I truely struggle with,I have tried on numerous occasions and usually give up.
  9. i thought that was Rugby not League Redleg?
  10. Thanks bb, obviously I am not very clever
  11. Sorry dc way to subtle for me?
  12. I sincerely hope you are right!
  13. A forlorn hope I think Redleg. People complain about us and others having our reserves as an afilliate team like Casey.Over the last few years it seems to me they have way more than us to complain about. In the last three weeks we have taken from their team, Gawn and Fitzpatrick with Spencer out suspended and Jamar injured they have gone from the best ruck division to nil. This weekend Spencer should play for Casey. What is the chance he will go to Darwin as an emergency? And again they will have no ruckman.
  14. A couple weeks ago i thought we might have a chance against the Lions but they way they have played the last couple of weeks i would say we have no show
  15. Add Uni Black drew, kicked themselves out of it. But my old home town got up. God I am grasping at straws
  16. Another Monday not much different to many over the last two years. Only 68 points on Saturday Two years ago 186 occurred to this day we still do not know the details. And whatever they were they may well be the root cause of where we sit today. It still amazes me that a group of players with way more ability than the current group could get beaten so badly.
  17. I pray you are correct!
  18. Redleg, Byrnes is still in the side How? Why? Somethings in life I will never understand
  19. I think his contract is up this year Redleg for a player that will have been on the list for three years with a team that cannot beat time with a stick and still cannot get one game it does not look good.He will probably get little thought or attention. Sad but I think his gone!
  20. Correct but he is the most glaring example.
  21. Watch Davis at training R & B IMO he is no better then than on game day.
  22. The same thing makes me wonder too bb.However I think it has a lot to do with the size of the player pool required for the AFL level now. With the addition of two new teams we have had to find a min. of another 80 players. IMO these players would not have made the cut in years gone by. IMO the talent pool is now stretched too far.
  23. I guess bb and Redleg when you get to the point in the draft when Nicholson, Mckenzie and Davis were selected you are getting to the bottom of the barrel. They would not be high / Rookie picks if they were perfect. If Mckenzie was a good kick he would have gone in the first round. If only he could kick!!!!!!!
  24. Not anymore!
  25. After all the agreement of earlier today Redleg trouble is on the horizon.Davis's kicking ability will go the same way as Mckenzie, Nicholson and G Mac. IMO poor kickers generally stay that way. Average kicks can etch out an AFL career poor ones do not. Replace them with players who can kick, they just break your heart and keep you anchored in the bottom half of the competition.
