Gee Rusty I am not that old mate, My father was on the kokoda track does that count.Do not agree with the Bombers / bananas. Bananas only bring joy the bombers never do!

You know rusty that all stems from the WW2 were the Poms put out the story that they were superior to the Germans in fighter planes because they ate lots of carrots which improved their eye sight. The reality is was 99% crap and Propaganda. To get an advantage you needed to eat massive volume of carrots over a long period of time and even then the affect was marginal. Sound familiar? Bomber PR department!

I actually think we are in that game in Darwin if we can get a couple of players back in the next two weeks. Brisbane may have had our measure the last couple of years but they have only won two more games. Brisbane is IMO the test If we can beat them we have turned a corner and Craig will have proved he can get more from this team than Neeld. Love to be going to Darwin.

We get to play the Dogs in the last game of the year now that will be the fight for position 16 Imagine if one side get done easily "tanking"!

I agree with you Redleg I just think a win over the Dogs does not prove a lot in the scheme of things. I still think we have a very ordinary list until I see otherwise . Now if we got to within five goals of the Swans on Sunday then my view might change. however I think I have now come to the view that Neeld was an ordinary coach. Craig will get more out of this team especially if he can get two or three back from injury

Watched a fair bit of the Roos / GWS game yesterday. I was concentrating on you know who. he had 20 possesions, 10 kicks, 10 handpasses, 15 where uncontested. 2 tackles and 4 clangers. That earns you $1million! Mckenzie does better than that for probably a fifth of the price.

Redleg there is nothing new in the following however i feel complelled to make it again. I have always believe you play to win every game. When the season ends you start worrying about draft picks. Numerous teams have shown you can build your list without very earlier picks. The MFC during the period 2008 - 2011 tried to be too clever and we know where that ended. The AFL knows we are in poor straits both on and off the field. IMO the team is not capable of winning more than another two or three games at the max for the balance of this year. We need to remember so far we have beaten GWS and the Dogs who are of similar talent to ourselves. Baring a miracle I cannot see much improvement for the remainder of the year. I would love it to and the AFL reduce assistance. IMO the assistance will not alter between now and the end of the year. Reality will return next Sunday.

I understand completely TBF.Have you ever tried banana and chocolate?

Man cannot live on banana bread alone!

It is R&B but if everyone is like me it is like I am living a dream we won. My wife rang me at 10.30 Last night with "we finally won one" Funny line for a Pies supporter and I made no comment. Going to a game and feeling like we were a chance from early on and then winning is a strange experience since 2011. Now if we can get a couple of players back and snag a couple more wins 2013 will have not been a total loss. Go Dees PS a single malt late last night has never tasted better.

Are you suggesting chocolate is superior to banana?Wash your mouth out bigfrog. Obviously a win has gone to your head.

That sounds harder to find than a decent player WJ. Suggest your spend your time on a good player search.

So why is the EFC sounding so confident Redleg? If what you say is correct ( I am not doubting you ) then Mr. Watson has put them right in it. Seems the powers to be at Essendon would very unhappy with him yet outwardly seem unperturbed. Do you agree?

Congratulations WJ. Grand children make the MFC bearable.

What I am referring to Redleg is the doubt about wether the drug was declared illegal in 2012. I reckon that Essendon has legal opinion that they can use to escape. They seem very cocky they are safe.
