  1. When you are finishing in the bottom couple Ricky any wins you have tend to be above you. This year we have beaten one team above us. we have won 7 from 16 one team in the eight. the other 6 are teams from 11th down. Now there is a couple of facts.
  2. Four wins in three years is hardly convincing Ricky. We have developed from a VFL team in 2013 into a bottom six team in 2016 But we still have a long way to go.
  3. I finally woke up we have far more ordinary players than I thought.
  4. wouldn't we all Song. But I have zero confidence they will do it in 2016.
  5. Expecting three from three is pushing the odds IMO Ricky
  6. That trio have yet to show they deserve big money Jaded. Promise is the best at this point. I am not convinced all three will be in a position to demand large salaries this side of 2019.
  7. Agree with most of that Jaded. I am still confident we can beat those two. However that is it for me I cannot see a win in any of the other games so 9 wins and only one win against a top eight team in round two.
  8. Not sure this is any conciliation mono but you are not alone. After Sundays loss it became very obvious to me that I had gifted a number of players with more ability than they have. I am trying to remind myself that we are still coming from a lone way back and still have a number of players who will not take us above the bottom six. I am clinging desperately to this theory but I am rapidly running out of finger nails.
  9. you are not alone Nasher I agree
  10. As I see it we had six players on the field last sunday that right now would not get a game with another AFL team well perhaps Brisbane. White, Vandenberg, O Mac, M Jones, Kennedy and Garlett. Kennedy and Garlett are small and IMO you cannot have both in the team. Add Tyson who is an average player when best and there are plenty that could be dropped. The trick is who replaces them. Sadly there are not seven better players at Casey hence our problem. OMac, M Jones and Kennedy must be replaced this week.
  11. You are joking Ricky I assume. The loss streak to the WCE in Perth must be as long as the saints record and they are a better side than the Saints. Mentally this team has lost this game before they get on the plane. There would not be one player at the MFC that in their hearts believes they can win this game any more than the thought they could last weekend. The result will be similar but with a wider margin.
  12. 50 years or half a century is a very long time Bbo. I agree mate the only up side I can suggest is that we should be used to efforts like last Sunday after all this time. Sadly it still sticks in my craw. But I wonder for how much longer.
  13. The world is full of tokenism DC. In fact the AFL might very well be the world champions.
  14. Just checking to see if you were awake! Yes correct
  15. As should we Nasher they have won the same number of games as us but we have a better percentage. We have won 3 of the last five games and they are 2 from 5. Close game with the Dees by 10 points is my prediction.
  16. Ok Mods time to close this thread it is now offering us nothing.
  17. In case you have not noticed DC shekels are what makes the world go round. Without them you are in the Amos playing to 100 mums and dads.
  18. Here is my opinion in a nut shell dc. We need the money. good sides win anywhere, we have lost these games because we were a crap side. The travel thing is here to stay and effects all sides the WA sides travel big distances every other week,. When they are good they win when poor they lose. The effect the week after is greatly over stated.
  19. Over riding all this is we need the money. Without the Money nothing else will be achieved.
  20. dc good sides win anywhere and the recovery problem is mainly myth.
