Please don't tell me it is a new feeling Redleg. I am confident you have felt this way for some time. I guess suspecting we are the worst team and having it shoved up your nose with a 6 goal loss is another thing. In all honest I have largely been resigned to our fate for some time now. I have no expections so little worry at present. Believe it or not the only thing keeping me interested are a number of you on Demonland. Thanks guys.

With apolgies to Redleg I return after my "Return to the past" last night to find much nashing of teeth, angry and dismay by a large number of Dees supporters. I am believe it or not quite surprised. It is not as though it came out of the blue, in fact we have been heading down hill rapidly since the later part of 2011. This seaon has been worse than even my low expectations and I honestly expected to get beaten on saturday by 6 goals which I think was what I said on Friday. So in all honesty what is the big surprise guys? What with all the angry? The totally expected happened.

Like you Redleg it will take me sometime to "Get over it" as WJ suggests. I think my time frame is probably 3 years. That is min. time I think it is going to take to escape from this list.

Well guys i had a good weekend up in Bendigo. Five mates and I got together and chewed the fat about our long gone youth. Visited a few old Haunts, we had one wife chauffeur us around to a few pubs we used to frequent. Not to many beers and we all retired around mid night after a night cap single malt. All up for brunch with wives, some of the children and grand children. Almost a great weekend. The downer was our old team Eaglehawk who were on top of the ladder got done by 11 goals. It must be me!!!! Home yesterday afternoon. Then the crap sets is Dees are officially the worst team in the competition and Casey could not beat time with a stick. I learn't a couple of thinks over the weekend. - My old cronies team is suffering the passing of time, we drank a quarter of what we would have 45 years ago - there is way more to life than the MFC.

I don't agree WJ IMO the water has stopped flowing.

Gee mate that is a big one. I have had quite a few friends and Rels who have had By pass operations and Stints put in the last few year. Everyone a big success So Think positive dc. And get better I need your witty lines. PS just occurred to me dc! what better avatar could you have PPS I reckon you have a good case against the Dees, how much heart ache can one person take?

I had a serious car crash this morning. 100% my fault, inattention. One metre further into the intersection and I think I would have been watching the Dees from another dimension. Everyone walked away ok. Puts the MFC in a different perspective. Never forget to tell your loved ones you do!

I have little idea if the kid has it or not at AFL level. But lets keep in mind at all the clubs above us he would probably not have played a game yet. He is a first year player like Viney. With a very few exceptions first year draftees take two to three years to develop into AFL players. I doubt at this point it is his fault, it is the crap around him that is the problem.

Well it has been six dc and we are worse than 2007 so probably not but If I say more than three out loud I do some self harm. But like WCE I have put the cue in the rack for at least 2014

Three Redleg!I think eight or nine might be closer to the mark. We currently have one afl standard mid fielder. The rest are either backman or forwards trying to fill holes. Honestly I see three years to make this team competitive. I doubt we will last that long.

Well it appears that way dc.I ended up at Uni blacks game, they won again. I heard the three quarter time score and thought thank god I decided to come here.

Great then what is all the gloom about?Seriously I have been thinking this for some months now but this the worst MFC side in my memory of 54 years bar none. I did not expect to win and I thought 10 - 12 would be the result. But I have to say 20 is returning to the Neeld days. took the MFC sticker off the car this morning, packed away the cap and scarf. Think I am just about done, there is more to life than the pain that is the MFC.

Well my big weekend in Bendigo turned to nothing. Five of us getting together. Friday one was down with flu, one broke his arm Thursday night, third one had to visit wife in hospital after fall from a golf cart. Yes you are reading correctly she fell out of golf cart. So the two of us left standing called the weekend early Saturday morning. After some discussion we are all on for next weekend. There seems to be a bit of sadness around tonight did we lose on Saturday or something.

I am serious to the extent Redleg that we have seemingly been fixated on early draft picks. It seems to me that we had this view that all we had to do was get early picks and problems solved. The result was we picked some shockers over a five period and ended up with tanking problems and a crap list. Does it really matter wether you get 2,3 or 4?

Redleg we have got lots of early draft picks over the last seven years and what has it achieved? Bugger all. Forget wether we get position 1,2, 3, 4 or 10 Choice better and develop them better that is the answer not the position in the draft.

What about WCE players going in for ops eg Nic Nat. Would they be having them if they were still a chance to make the finals? Another scandal over looked.
