  1. Not a guy you want to try tricks on.
  2. He had 3 disposals in half a game.
  3. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder RIF, I would not have Sharp in the 23. NQR for me.

I don't think he is better than Fullarton. Imo Fullarton can play 2nd ruck as he did yesterday. Jefferson forward only. I think the guy with the most potential is Kentland. With little PS he is behind the rest. I look forward to how is playing in July.
  6. What changed imo was the players were playing to their strengths not the desires of the FD. They look like they knew what the had to do. Previous weeks they looked like they were uncertain and hesitent.
  7. One of the highlights for me yesterday was in the last quarter. Bolton takes a mark well out from Goal, I suspect too far for him. Tries to run around the player on the mark mucks it up and they lose the ball. I think it was when they were only one goal behind. If he kicks to the square they have some tall forwards and smaller players at ground level. The Freo around me were as quiet as a church.
  8. Yes the pies thug gets nothing to answer and Kossie 3 weeks.

How many did Jefferson kick in the reserves yesterday? Has he ever kick 5 in a game? Obviously the FD did not think much of Jefferson . Back from injury only 2 games out and back into the reserves.
  10. I don't think that is overly optimistic Macca. Sadly we won't best the pies they play with 19 men. You cannot touch the pies favourite son.
  11. I thought Fullerton was ok. He contributed to a goal in the second quarter with a great weighted kick into the forward line. Also played better than others in the ruck this year. He didn't play much in the forward line. I would rather him than Fritz, JVR and Jefferson next week. If you are those three and struggle at Casey you are giving zero to a senior team. The only alternative is Kentland and from what I hear from yesterday's game He played ok at CHB for a forward/ ruck playing in the back half. He was there of course so the 3 rejects could play forward. IMO he is the best alternative to play seniors. He can take a congested mark, help out in the ruck and is not frightened of the rough stuff. It's very early of course and very little pre season is not helping him at present. I look forward to how he is playing in July.
  12. Good question I was wondering as well.
  13. Re item 2 the worst affenders were at Casey yesterday that helped.
  14. Exactly my point Kent. Yesterday my impression was the players played to their strengths not being told how to play. They were off the lease compared to the first 4 games. Of course it helped that they were not held back buy 2 forwards who are sadly out of form / nqr.
  15. I am not sure why people are so critical of things from yesterday. We played with fire and confidence yesterday and lead all day. I will take that every week.
  16. Yes it did LH. There were more Freo fans than I expected.
  17. I don't think he has the talent to be more than average. Average is not good for a kpf.
  18. Blunt! Did he do anything in the second half when came on? Cannot agree Werribee.
  19. Don't hold your breath on the last sentence deever.
  20. Spot on binman! With Lever and May out and Petty at FF I thought they were very good. Funny how things work out a few years ago we didn't need Tmac. He is the general down there now. We lead all day what do people want.
  21. Surely Blunt is at Casey next weekend. Milkshake must have been close to our worst today but there is no one else at Casey to take his place.
