I worked down that way for over 20 years any resident will tell you it is a windy area. Evidently they didnt ask about the wind. It is also in the same rain band as Sandown, Waverley, Dingly and Dandenong. All you need do is ask the BOM for records. It appears they didnt!

DC my fear is if we move to Waverley it is a handy way of getting the subject off the agenda that the AFL has and remember the new Tassie team is going to suck up lots of AFL money. It is a quick way for the AFL / state government to get the MFC out of Goschs. With no agreement on Caulfield if we move to Waverley we will be stuck there forever. Caulfield will be in the same draw as the Airport train service. Then be bought out every election year then quickly returned to the draw. The other wild card is the next election is in November it is difficult to see Labor being returned so what is the Liberal party / the red head party attitude? A move to Waverley will see us there forever.

When did you start your 3-5 years? we are already into the four year of the Caulfield move. I see nothing to suggest we are any closer than we were 3 years ago.

Why did they want to leave?

If we move to Waverley it removes the need for the government to do something at Caulfield any time soon. The Caulfield project then gets moved into the same draw as the rail link to tulla. The AFL will be happy to have waverley used and will not have to give money to the mfc at the same time as money to the Tassie team. We will be stuck there for at least the next decade. We might as well change our name to the Waverley Demons.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Jnr first you have to get the ball. He should take notice of one of Jack Dyers rules. "Don't get where the ball ain't". If we are relieing on Sharp to help win a game we are in deep trouble.

I vowed I would never go back to that [censored] hole and never did. If we end up back you can be sure I won't break the vow.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
The AFL is honestly hopeless. We had ruckman jumping into each and it caused a lot of knee injuries that is why they changed to the system we have had up till now. They constantly change rules imo because it seems like a good idea at the time.

NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
Seriously if the AFL is serious about head injuries then it has to be 6 weeks!

NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round
Then we get a team looking for revenge next week. They beat us twice last year on one occasion by 10 goals and then we lost the un- lose able. I will just imagine you didn’t say the unthinkable at the end.

If it doesn't work the saints are going to have a number very long expensive contracts to deal with. Hmm a bit like us!

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
That was my thoughts, I don't know a lot about the saints but if he was any good why sell the farm for the long haired blone. I actually thought he was nothing special at Carlton in the games I saw.

Wow the Giants are without 4 of their top 10 and are 40 points ahead at 3/4 time. Add the Hawks are not easy beats.

You are not alone Mono I agree 100%. I went to a BB game before Christmas. They were handing out Clackers for free before the game. Add those to the blaring music and I did not enjoy the game. 2 weeks later my daughter asked me if I want too go to another game? Easy answer No. I would rather go to the lower games that have none of this [censored]. It was the first game of the rep under 16 girls season last night. Sadly my Grand daughters team lost. Level at half time, 3 points behind at 3 quarter time but lost by 10. A lapse in defensive effort of a couple of minutes at the start of the last quarter and it was game over. I think the other teams talent level ran a bit deeper than ours. They never gave up and fought it out to the bitter end. After their lapse at the start of the last quarter i thought they might drop their heads and big defeat might result. After the match my GD said we hate that team we will get them in a few weeks time. Sorry boys and girls I had to tell someone. This year if the dees have a Friday game I will be at the Basketball.

He appears to be better than expected. Did the saints move him on because they simply needed his salary space?

VOTES: Player of the Preseason
Honestly the AFL could not organise a 5 cent toilet. Starting a game at 4 pm at a ground in the country when stormy weather was forcast at a ground with no lights. What could go wrong. And the compliant media will say nil.

PSD I know you are looking medium term but I don't think Jefferson / Batman with be in contention for the first few games. Heath may get a look in because the cupboard is bare.
