  1. Super collector. He will be average in 2020.
  2. Unless something happens from left field I believe our KPF's for 2020 will be TMac, the Weid and possibly Petty. IMO that is not a pretty sight however that is the extent of it so we will have to develop a game plan that is built around one KPF. Hopefully the other two can occasional chip in with a good game to keep the oposition defence honest. We are going to need a lot of goals from our half forwards and mids to regularly kick winning score lines.
  3. I have a similar view I wonder if we will be correct?
  4. He was taking the best defenders and still kicking goals. You are kidding yourself if you think he was not a major contributor in 2018. Lots of If's there DS, 22 good games from Weideman will will be a big first for a guy who struggles to put together 5 reasonable games . I know there is no alternative, it is the Weid or bust for a KPF other than TMac but we look thin in the forward department to me.
  5. You have forgotten all the games that he made a major contrabition us wining with multiple goals during the season. Without him in 2018 there would have been no finals appearance. We have not replace the best KPF we had, kicking a winning score was a major problem in 2019 and will again be a problem in 2020.
  6. Spot on rjay and while he did not play finals he was a major factor during the year that got us into a finals position. both grand finalists This year had multiple good KPF's who kicked multiple goals. We have one average KPF.
  7. I agree BB we had a terrible year in 2019 for a number of reasons one of which IMO was the FD. now some changes have happened and I hope your optimism is correct. I don't thing 2019 showed our true worth but I think 2018 flattered us and we have nothing to replace the goals that Hogan kicked in that year. I might add that good KPF's don't grow on trees but our KPF's are average and you don't make the top four without good ones let alone win flags. If luck smiles on us we are capable of 7 to 8th.
  8. So am I FTB but don't hold your breath Good KPF's are rare beasts. I think we will have to go into next season with the NQR's that we used in 2019.
  9. From the little you can tell from the outer binman there appears little about his on field performance that would generate the lack of love for keeping him. Must be things we don't know and probably never will.
  10. Average and They backed up so well in 2019 that half of them got flung. So let's hope the current replacements are doing a little better.
  11. Our FD "reasons" have not filled me with confidence in the past yung blood so the jury is well and truely still out for me.
  12. So we have traded out the best backman of 2019. I still don't understand that we appear to have had no love for him in the FD. But I guess they did such a good job for us this year so why question their ability.
  13. I have hated them and the AFL with serious intent since DJ. And that does not take into account the worst supporters in the comp.
  14. Whatever way you look at it the Crows have serious problems, with no coach, no chief of the FD, assistants coaches being shown the Dorrington and players wanting out all over the place. add the trading period / drafting is upon them. Oh great it could not happen to a nicer mob. This is the only team in the competition that I truely hate.
  15. This may sound strange to you DD but I actually agree with you. where we may differ is the size of that young talent group.
  16. Sounds like figures the Weid puts up.
  17. Happy to help you out Steve.
  18. So which one do you think is correct?
  19. Story of the AFL it has been this way ever since I can remember dieter the big clubs / AFL darlings get off or low penalities the other clubs get it in the neck. May had a bad record so he coped it.
  20. So that makes it ok?
  21. Like your confidence Steve but sadly I cannot share it.
  22. That's probably a good start but the real work starts from there.
  23. Good reply but I still think it is tough to ignore his opinion because of one spelling mistake. i guess the real difference between us is you think his opinion is inaccurate and I think it is close to the mark.
  24. If we get 22 games out of him in 2020 I will be astounded as I don't think his body can cope with the standard required at a club with a serious intent to play finals.
  25. I think he is probably close as well. A lot seem to forget we finished second last this year 2018 is long gone history.
