Why are so sure we will go for Jackson? His draw backs for me are he is from WA so a better than average chance he will want to go home, If he is solely a Ruckman then he will probably take 4-5 years to be ready to Play seniors. I don't value Ruckman all that highly , the vast majority of GF winning teams in the last decade or so have been won by teams with average ruckman. How many times have we seen Gawn get a large number of hit outs to have 50+% of them sharked by the other team. If he is a genuine Ruckman / Forward who can score 20-30 goals PA then that may be a different story but I still don't like drafting Ruckman in the first round they are just not that important

Your last para says it all RN. At senior level first you have to able to get the ball. We have recruited a number of very good kicks in the last decade but they have mostly amounted to nil. Because they did not make it at senior level. The trick to recruiting under age players is to be able to judge who will progress at senior level. Recruit is imo a very inexact science.

Probably more effective there.

KK was a steak knives deal, long shot who was injury prone. As he cannot stay on the park we will probably never see his real talent. Still injury prone and I doubt will be on the list in 2021. Sad but some people just don't have the bodies to cut it in the game of Aussie rules.

I agree with almost everything you say in the above However it is a fan site and as such you will get a number of different views on every subject. Just roll with the blows that is the way life is. AS for the MFC reading Demonland I seriously doubt that anyone reads the site and the few that may would instantly discard anything they don't agree with. I firmly believe that what is written here has no effect on how the MFC perform on match day.
