If correct that may well be the end IMO. He has had continuing problems since day 1 of his senior career. Some people just do not have the body for the game I suspect he is one of them.

A Jack Dyer quote comes to mind. Don't get where the ball ain't.

2019 - THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS by The Oracle

Not sure about that Mr. Leg I have prayed a fair bit about Dees results over the last half century and we know how successful that has been. -
That about covers it bingers.

What is his chief talent DS?

Don't worry pf he is in no danger of getting a game. To start with he is still not even training and then there is the small problem of talent.

2019 - THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS by The Oracle

I think 2019 was the season we had to have. i actually think we were not as good in 2018 as a lot of people think. Towards the end of July we had not beaten anyone above us in the eight at that stage. We then had a purple patch over the last six weeks. Come the results of 2019 we were forced to look at our list and FD because they were not as good as we thought at the end of 2018. A lot of changes were made and it would appear we added 3- 5 good players to the list. As you say Bob we will do a lot better this year. I expect a 7-8th finish. -
Good summation there LT agree with 95% of that. The 5% I disagree with is the Weid has to average better than 1 goal per game. 1.5 is my mininium. I expect an average of 2.

That probably covers it Bbo.

The Weird, has to go from an occasional contributor to dynamic KPF.

Don't be that is very clever.

There is nothing as constant as change SWYL

You might be a little early with that Mr. Leg. I reckon there are 4-5 who are just making up the numbers. I will hold off till June before I wholeheartedly join you.

Didn't Yeats coach Sandringham to a flag?

The great days of the VFA long gone sadly. Unfortunately the ground is too small or it could have a good site for our training ground/ home.

Seems the simple solutions are lost in business these days dc.

Ok, I never cease to be amazed by why the club makes this promise. All I need is it delivered before the first game. Why they don't make this an opt in for delivery before Christmas amazes me. They seem to have never heard the old business statement of under promise and over deliver. Seems they are stuck in over promise and under deliver.

Serious question Steve, why is this a problem?

Crystal Ball 2020: Your predictions for next season
old dee replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
We would win the flag if that happened however I won't hold my breath. -
Two things spring to mind. -they have people justifying their existence. -they are addicted to fiddling with the game.

The problem is NC that if you are short ( relative term in Basketball ) you have to be exceptional good to make it at top level basketball. Mills is a very good player probably more skilled than Dellavadova but big Del will earn a lot more than Mills over their respective careers. if you are short in AFL you have to be very good to make it, taller players can have good long careers with average ability but short guys with average ability do not.

Interesting question binman. Having never been a professional sportsman I can only guess. If you seek international achievement then I guess basketball wins easily. However if you want to achieve the top in your desired sport then being top of the heap in Aussie rules ain't a bad result. A small note on the two involved in this discussion. I would have thought Pendlebury is a bit short to make it at NBA level.

This may well be in my imagination but was there not a survey last year asking questions about what you received in the pack and it's worth to you? Perhaps the cut backs are the result!
