A bloke called Hogan left, he kicked nearly 50 goals in about 16 games. The forward line has never been the same since. Without his goals some of the young guys of 2018 have been shown up, they where riding on his 50 goals coat tails. Tmac got injured and has never been the same since, we simply don’t have that good of a list.

I think your first item is the key one, our list is not as flash as a lot assume. E.g. we have one KFP player who is good but will Never be a champion.

Or did they just have a year out in 2018?

Agree a number never were but were carried along by the top ten, now 3- 4 of that 10 have dropped off or left and they now look like they always were, not good enough.

I don’t fault his desire and effort fd but that is not enough.

On my estimate of Port it appears we have 5 players who are As good as the corresponding players at Port. After that we drop away substantially. Surely after 14 games this year Dees supporters can see we are only a mid level Talented team. Poor delivery equals poor results which must be the only thing we do consistently well.

Sorry but like a lot outside the best 22 he is one of the many NQR group. There is a reason he spent so long in the vfl, like Hannah they are not good enough.

What we are seeing IMO is more a case of a lack quality that appears as poor play in a lot of games. Endeavour and effort can carry You a fair way you but When you run into better skill And or you get tired we fail. We do not have a player list to get us higher than the mid level of the ladder. How many very Good and Good players do we actually have ? I cannot see more than 10 then we drop away rapidly. Add a FD that is gloriously average and the result is an average team who if things go our way means we can sneak into the finals but little else will happen. We still have a long way to go.
