  1. Not quite sure Jaded why you are so upset. Crowd support is always determined by how a team is travelling. It is not peculiar to the Dees. When you have had the season we have had particularly the last 5 weeks I am not surprised at all. I am an addict and I considered if I would go on Sunday. The prospect of being beaten by GC is a real possibility. Add to that all the negative stuff of the last month and getting beaten last week by the tigers. All adds up to a crap end of season. I have 2 member friends who have tossed it in for 2011. I will be going on my own this week. I don't blame them our team stinks at present This may be their only way of expressing their displeasure. I think 18915
  2. Sorry PSD I may have been a little obscure I was referring to Wona.
  3. You know what Redleg I agree with him. I wish GWS would just [censored] off. Thank god for Eddie as we are so beholding to the AFl we cannot say a word of complaint. I am glad someone can
  4. "Hope" may be all we have left!
  5. Agree HT however you can drop the "3 remaining games " I have a feeling it will apply for all of 2012
  6. 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000YES
  7. In my current state of depression I read this as "Are you going to attend our last game?" My first thought was my god I have not heard the news the MFC is disbanding. I knew this year was crap but not this bad surely or perhaps I had been in a coma and it was Monday the 29th and we had been badly beaten by GC and decided to leave the league. But no just missed the "home " word. Yes I am going against my better judgement. I have a horrible feeling about this game. They beat Richmond a few weeks back. Where does that leave us?
  8. and if your aunty had
  9. Agree and who says he is leaving "the channel 10 news" Well that is straight from the horses mouth! Well some part of a horse!
  10. So be it. It is only my opinion. he has been with the MFC for 4 years now. Next year will make 5. Is that enough do you think?
  11. Mate he has never had an injury free season. What gives you any reason to believe it will happen in 2012 This may seem very callous but I am over being sympathetic That only last so long. Step up or get out of the way is the message for 2012
  12. Well said Tony Tea. For years I have been saying we constantly recruit Choir boys. Last year we picked Cook instead of Darling. Now time may show that Cook is the better player. But right now the MFC need tough large bodies. And we have precious little of them. I think we should use our draft picks this year to get these types that have 3 - 6 seasons into their careers. I admit it is easier said than done. But we have got to try.
  13. Good point HT I was thinking this over the weekend They made a lot better job of playing Collingwood than we did. Perhaps we could recruit Voss?
  14. Not for me but there seems to be an ellement within the MFC that see him as the chosen son or something similar. He must be a really nice guy because he has IMO been cut a lot of slack over the years.
  15. Is everyone on agro pills this afternoon. I was just making a few suggestions on why he might not see Melbourne as desirable.
  16. I was not suggesting he was wonderful. The suggestion by rudeboy was he had been out of the game for a long time. Unless I read it wrong
  17. Hey BB I am not saying I am any better than you. I thought we would push for eighth spot. But it has been staring me in the face for some months now. We are a bottom 5 side
  18. Because he has a year to run on his contract and he may think the back up at St Kilda is a long way in front of Melbourne. On top of that we may have a group of potentially good kids. But the experienced players are fairly ordinary or close to the end. Who is going to carry our side over the next couple of years?
  19. We are in total agreement
  20. GK are we talking about the same "Harley" He played in the Cats 2009 premiership
  21. You will not get a argument from me HT. A lot of people seem to have missed this over the last 6 months.
  22. I believe Lethal is on the Adelaide selection panel. So that probably makes him unavailable!
  23. At the risk of offending you with my negativity RR I have always had doubts on Wona. How many good games has he played? From my reckoning 5 - 6, by good I mean ones that justified his selection the following week. But the biggest problem is he does not make it onto the park very often. I acknowledge he has had a bad run with injuries. But I don't know if he has the will to get himself fit enough for AFL. IMO if you cannot get onto the playing field on a regular basis Then your chances of having an AFL career are severely limited. The latest injury could not have come at a worse time for his future. How long do we keep a spot on the list for him? AT this point I would rather have Lawerence on the list. The MFC has quite a few tough decisions to make over the next 3 months and he is one of them.
  24. Agree with you Goag. What is the use of rushing Bail back. I know you said reading between the lines Scully look fine to me physically on Sunday. His bloody poor decision making of when to hand pass annoys me
