I think I was meaning the captain / leadership group etc. Back to Green do you really think he will get a 2 year offer. I thought there was a rule that over 30 it was one year at a time. I may be wrong but that was my understanding. I suppose you can only move if some one wants you and there may well be no offers for DG after his form this year.

Bruce has shown there is life after Melbourne and a move will be his last chance to play into September.

Actually Redleg I am absolutely over the whole thing,life goes on. As for messrs Prendergast and Harrington only if he turns into a flyer down the track. Guys in their jobs are probably fairly steely, win some lose some. Bit like horses mate,some win and others carry children around at horse clubs. By the way, why do the good ones break down but the donkeys run around forever?

He was supposedly a good assistant when he was with us but I have little idea to be honest. Seems to have done a good job with the Blues list.I doubt we would be playing bruise free football with him as the coach. So perhaps but he has to get the flick first IMO the Carlton fans over rate their list a little, take out Judd and I think it is average. PS great comment on that other thread RD

I object to one thing you say here MB the members money has eradicated debt.

All I am saying RR is there are way too many MFC members who have been way too accepting for way to long.

Our current captain does not have a contract for 2012 so that may make it hard for him to be captain. The gut feeling I am getting is no one is rushing to give him one. Yes it would be interesting to know what happened behind closed doors. I suspect the dumping of Jnr. and Bruce had a bigger impact than I thought. Leaving all that aside I cannot see a leader amongst our senior players.
