I did Big Jim and it was great we used to roll over sides like Brisbane and Geelong of recent times. And Collingwood it was bloody marvelous beating them on Queens birthday weekends. I used to come down from the country for the big games. I was standing in the outer in 64. There seemed to be a never ending number of great players at Melbourne I thought it would never end. Sadly it all turned to crap after 64. It is a very long time ago now and I live in hope. Sometimes I think I am too scared to give up in case we come good. Hang in there Big Jim it must turn in your life time surely.

Because they have more to offer than the dollars. North are not going to win a flag this side of 2018, Big chance at The Pies and Blues in the next couple. All the players to go to GWS are from lower clubs that says it all. If you have little chance of a flag in the next 5 years take the money and run.

I did not have the ability to play AFl but I am told by a couple of friends who have that you hear very little out on the ground particularly if it comes from further back than the first couple of rows,so I expect the players in question hear nothing from the supporters that make you angry. Hang in there Crawf we will hopefully see success before we shuffle off.

I was trying to point out that our group of senior players are not good only average. We can have all the positivity we like but it will not change their skill level. I too have been around since 1960 through a little thich and a lot of thin. All teams have the type of supporters you describe you probably just notice ours more and in the end if they pay their membership they have the right to their view correct or not. I live for the day we are in GF contention I just think it is a ways off yet. I will settle for a season with no 30 goal losses and a finish higher than 2011. beyond that I think we are dreaming and I have had far to many of those in the last 40+ years

Believe it or not DC before a recent knee injury I was doing about 60 - 70 km a week to try and stay healthy. I do enjoy it. Just back on the bike in the last two weeks, put on 4 kg over 3 months off the road. I know you are baiting me re the boater so no further comment.

Bing181 as I understand it we are allowed a total of 26 players for the game against the Pies this weekend. We have listed 29 so that means 3 have to drop out. I think Cook will be one of those 3. That is my basis for saying he is not up to it at present. Which 3 would you leave out?
