    I agree All three will need to do a lot more than their 2011 form before they are best 22 in my book.

    I maybe a little out here but is this the order of No.1 2006 Gibbs Excellent from early days 2007 Kruezer very good from early days 2008 watts poor start average so far 2009 Scully average so far 2010 Swallow looks good but early days So in recent years Watts looks to be behind the last 5 first round picks. That is why he is getting so much press attention Of course the gods are about 2 months away from decending on Scully. By June the press could be saying the MFc wasted 2 No.1 picks. I really hope not.

    You have my vote I doubt he would have played even for Casey this side of May so what the hell is everyone on about. As long as he keeps up his fitness he can be in Katmandu for all I care.

    Hope this is not a "Geelong" 1-2 weeks. I remember a couple of years ago Ottens was out for 1- 2 weeks that kept on that way for 2 months. No this is the MFC we tell the truth!!!

    One less to pressure JW for a spot in the forward line. But I guess he was a number of weeks away any how. I had mentally put him in the June box. So probably no big deal. Perhaps 2013 is his year!

    Don't know that anyone is writing him off egd! Some people are less convinced than others. You do your arguement no good by slagging off MM. The guy has coached 3 teams and two of them to premierships over a long period. I think he has the runs on the board. Ignore what he says at your peril. He makes mistakes like all humans but he is no fool.

    Biffen at the risk of offending you, TW and MM carry a bit more weight than you. You cannot simple defeat their arguements by slagging them off.

    It is all about winning when you are 12. Hopefully we will turn the corner for her this year.

    There are no guarantees in the football business. Just because you are a high draft pick does not guarantee success. The league is littered with guys that did not make it. Simpily because JW was a no.1 pick does not mean he will be anymore than an average footballer. Time will tell but do not fall for the line that because we chose him at no.1 automatically make him top line.

    I hope they improve this year My daughter bailed out when she was 12 got tired of going to games that we never won. Took up with Essendon ( still there ) and got a couple of Premierships for her troubles. She is now a rusted on Bomber Probably a good decision. Hope you have more luck.
