  1. Last year we did not care what anyone else did as we won games. This year even the talk of what we need other teams to do shows our level of ability this year.
  2. I think they are in Freo's favour they took us apart a few weeks ago and our form has drooped since then.
  3. JD it is not a word I use but one could say the same thing about your comment above. We have been hit seriously by injuries after a dream run last year. Even some who have returned from injury are playing IMO at less than 100% fitness. We have also been worked out by opposition teams, they have developed ways to beat us and they know that if they keep at it we will crack. I also don't see the all playing for the team like we saw last year. In spite of all the talk to the contrary there seems to be some discontent in the team. Is it Jackson and Brayshaw not re signing? I don't know but something is amiss. WE are not playing well and have serious injuries to important players IMO we will struggle to win more than one of the last four and zero four is not an impossibility. Every team we play from here is in good form, we could not beat a team who is not even in the top eight on Saturday. Freo in Perth - could not beat them on the G. Pies at the G - they are finding ways to win and beat us a few weeks ago. Carlton at the G - playing better than us but this one is 50/50. Lions at their home ground unless our form improves this is doubtful especially if they are playing for a high finish. I seriously doubt we will need to worry about getting a seat for the GF
  4. That covers it D.
  5. Whatever you are on please stop it is serious effecting your reasoning ability.
  6. Will have to be tonight Pates.
  7. You don't worry about our forward line kicking enough goals Dr.? Not sure that Kosi can repeat his effort of last week.
  8. After a week of sunny days I wake to rain. Looks like my visit to the Scray is off. Laptop will be the back up viewing. Pity as I was looking forward to going to the game. IMO there is no substitute for going to the footy.
  9. Sorry DD I don’t know either. Long time since I have been to the Footscray ground
  10. Surely you jest the weid is a poor man's ruckman end of story.
  11. I would rather someone who is a little shorter but who plays like he wants the ball.
  12. It’s secret, so secret the players are like you and I THBT they don’t know either. We are currently so easy to work out. Kicking in is the same ever game and our one KPF is not in his best form and there is no one else. It is very easy to defend, the opposing can double team Brown and concentrate players to the left flank at kick ins and negate our marking and clearance ability with impurity. We won last week due to an unbelievable effort by one player.
  13. We have no replacement for Tmac and it has been shown since his loss that we are struggling for a taller player to take marks. Last week Tomlinson played well and deserved his spot this week. Why not play Petty in the forward line where he has shown on a few occasions he can mark and kick goals. Surely it is worth a trial. We have one key forward in Brown then no one else. Why not try a player who can mark and kick accurately?
  14. I might join you werridee, it will depend on the weather. I like going to these games at old vfl grounds.
  15. When is the next one Bbo?
  16. Isn't that 426?
  17. I used to attend training at Gosch's during the year. Particularly during pre season. Have I missed it? Yes. But wether we get back there now or November does not worry me.
  18. Dr G a comment just because we cannot get in at Casey does not make it a poor training venue. We won a flag from there last season.
  19. Before or after the game?
  20. Why? Casey is fine!
  21. It's still attached to his rib cage.
  22. You have my vote Mr. Leg. It is the most predictable thing in AFL football. Every team just sets up for our kick inns.
  23. I was meaning in the finals LH
  24. We are second on the ladder with only percentage between us and top. We have only played one game this year close to our top. With Tmac out for the rest of the season it would appear we have a second rate forward line that would not win a flag barring miracles. I seriously doubt we can win the flag in 2022 but we will play finals and I may have to accept that is our lot this year. What this year has shown me is that we are seriously short of KPF's and a back up ruckman. We also have a few shorter forwards that are not up to the mark when the likes of Tmac /Brown are not at 100%. Still this is way better than a few years back when we looked like North Melbourne. Please someone beat the Cats!
