  1. Shot ourselves in the foot DF.
  2. I have tried over the last couple of years not to get upset at loses. You win some and lose some. If we lose on Friday night I believe as supporters we have had a good year. The football department has I hope learn some things about out list. Hopefully in 2023 we can have a better run with injuries. We had next to none in 2021 and I believe that was a major factor in winning the flag, that and not playing at the G as much. This year the injuries have been often and to good players. There has plenty to laugh about Mr. Leg.
  3. Whatever you were on last night I hope the effect has worn off by now.
  4. It may be hard to believe Mr. Leg but I have other things in my life than the MFC. My wife and I had a good night at the footy last Friday night. We meet some other Dees fans and laughed about the our previous 50 years of watching the Dees. Then the 50 metre fiascos were another laughing point.
  5. Hmm just checked my joke detector. Battery flat as a tack.
  6. That tactic is as old as me. I remember it being done to team mates in the 60's.
  7. So Tom or no one!
  8. Steve, Smith was out longer than Tmac and starts off with less skill. Play Tmac at 90% he is better than Smith and I like Smith. Smith has had two games at Casey and Tmac one. Not much difference.
  9. That is what gets me my nose you accept a less than wonderful area and then they open a section you wanted. Mine are ok but it stinks.
  10. You got them from the club, My wife and her mother used to sleep out at the ground to be early in the queue. At least at Melbourne you were allowed into the old Olympic stand underneath. Believe me was no picnic.
  11. Finally in and have a ticket in M14 row R. Looks ok,
  12. you are not alone
  13. Your mistake roy is you are expecting logic!
  14. sadly I will drag my body along dc!
  15. Probably an accurate number DZ.
  16. What a joke I struggled to get two last Tuesday in any reasonable area.
  17. Spectators are now very low on the totem pole MS.
  18. No it is about TV ratings. Prime viewing time is 8 -10.30. Spectators are just collateral damage. It wont be long before all games are night games / early evening.
  19. The AFL don't give two hoots about people who go to the game SB. It is all about TV ratings. It was after midnight when I got home on Friday night as well, I wrote this in another thread. MFC members 10.00AM Monday. I have 18 hours to decide if I am going or not. I went with No.1 wife last Friday and in spite of the loss we had a good time however our bodies were feeling the stress Yesterday. A lot of walking and we did not get home till after midnight. I think the last time I looked at the clock it was 2.40 before I drifted off. Another 7.50pm start, nowadays that is really pushing the odds for my aging body. Big decision to make.

  21. Yep we are limping to line with injuries.
  22. We will know next week!
  23. Sounds like we are limping to the line.
  24. I actually think the Weid could do that job.
